I had lunch here with a friend a few weeks ago. The food was average. I built my own burger without a bun. I ordered medium-well. I got a hockey puck with cheese and mushrooms. I asked for a fork since I didn't order a bun and the server told me that she wasn't sure if they had any clean forks but she would check. Luckily, she found one. It was warm- so I am hoping it just came out of the washer. We had to ask for refills on our drinks. We needed a bag and could not find our server. We finally asked the hostess for one. Some friends wanted to check out Bad Daddy's after church today so I joined them at their upstairs table. Environment upstairs was fun and it was a beautiful day to be able to look out at the mountains during lunch. I know they are known for their burgers, but I just didn't want something so heavy, so I opted for the Texican Chicken Salad. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the salad. The whole salad was very one note without any zip or real flavor. The fried chicken pieces on top had absolutely no seasoning so they were just fried and bland which didn't really add anything to the salad. The chipotle ranch dressing also provided no spice or zing at all and really just served to moisten the lettuce. Although my salad was not very tasty the company seemed to enjoy their burgers. The bacon burger on steroids seemed to be a big hit. I'll probably try this place again but will stick to what they are known for...the burgers. read more

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with my food here yesterday. I'll start by saying I have eaten here a couple other times and never had a complaint with their food. However, last night for dinner took a turn for the worst. I had ordered a to go order of the Western Burger and asked for medium to medium-well. When I showed up, my order was not quite finished, so I hung out for a couple minutes. They were pretty busy as I over heard there was a wait time of about 15 minutes to be seated. My order came up, I said thank you, and left. When I got home, I took the burger out to put on a plate. Right away I could tell the bottom bun was mushy and soggy, but I assumed it was from the pickles that came with it, along with some juices from the burger. I cut it in half and found that the bottom bun was soaked and soggy from blood and this burger was more medium rare. I tried to eat as much as I could as this was my main meal for the day, and I paid for it, but couldn't even stomach to eat more than a couple bites read more

But my anemic body and soul were craving red meat and we were out running errands in the burbs. This place popped up in Yelp, so we popped in. DANG. I liked this burger. A lot. I also split the Ahi burger with my buddy. It was good, though not like the beef burger. The decor was just quirky enough where I didn't feel totally out of place. The only complaint I have is that the service was waaaaaay too 'attentive.' FOUR different servers came to check on us within a 10-minute window; two came before I was even able to take the first bite. We frequent this place a lot. Excellent food and drinks. Burgers and chicken are really good and create-you-own salad is amazing. Bartender Brian is great! Bad Ass margarita is our go to drink here. If you like a Chili's margarita then you probably wont like this one because is decently strong WITHOUT 16 ounces of neon sour mix. They also have other nice cocktails options and they don't rip you off with weak pours and fillers. Friendly suggestions to management...bring back the tuna burger (although the salmon is really good too). Oh, it would be nice if there was an easy way in the system to upgrade the tequila in the BA marg. We used to do this a lot but it always threw off the bartenders. They kept saying that there was no way to do it easily in the system, so they did various work arounds to accommodate us. As a result the price always varied and it seemed like we were just being pains so we stopped asking. Hubs and I have eaten here many times since they opened and it was actually one of our favorite places, but something is wrong, really wrong now, don't know what's happening. We recently ate there, sitting at the lower bar (our preference). Hubs ordered a custom burger, I had the Chili. We received our order and my chili was fine, hubs burger was totally wrong, toppings were not what he ordered, obviously the wrong burger was brought out. Hubs politely pointed this out to the bartender and she admitted "she picked up the wrong order." She left to check on his correct burger. 20 minutes later he receives his burger with the correct toppings, but his burger was totally rare, inedible. He refused to eat it. We didn't want to wait another half hour for it to be corrected, so just requested the check. Hubs was polite but firm we weren't paying for the burger. To the establishments credit, they did comp the burger and a round of drinks and gave us two coupons for a free burger. We very satisfied with that. Decided to give it another go. Sat at the bar again. I again ordered chili, hubs a burger. Got our food and this time around it was the opposite, his burger was fine, my chili was literally stone cold, it comes with sour cream on top. The chili was so cold when I tried to stir it in to melt it it was just congealed. Ugh. Also we had a round of drinks, and tried to get another round. We were totally ignored. After waiting about 20 minutes to order another round of drinks with no attention, we had had it. The place was not busy! It was not happy hour, this was 1:30 pm after church. We requested the check paid and left. Hubby did not leave a tip, very, very rare, he usually tips 20-25 percent. Don't know what's going on here. But I don't see us returning anytime soon. read more

If you want a hip burger/bar with a cool atmosphere right in the middle of the southglenn shopping center, this place is for you. We went on a Friday night at 630, typically not ideal for eating out. We only had a 5-10 minute wait, but had the option of sitting upstairs at the high tops, but opted to wait for a lower table with my daughter on hand. The place was busy, but the restaurant had more than enough employees on hand for the dinner rush, which is always appreciated. 4 different employees made a point to stop and say hi to my 2 year old daughter, that kind of service is really ideal when you have children. I ordered the "sam-i-am" burger which had an egg, ham, cheese and pesto. It was really good, a little under cooked to my liking but nothing that made me hesitate chomping in. It just wasn't as "juicy" as I was hoping. I also had tater tots as a side, and they were delicious.My daughter had the kids meal slider with a side of mixed fruit. The fruit dish was very giving, alot of fruit for a kid and that's not a bad thing! No skimping going on here. My wife ordered the black bean burger, and she said it was amazing. Amazing experience at Bad Daddy's for lunch! I was immediately seated and my drink order was taken promptly. Lauren was so sweet and friendly and made great recommendations for my food. She was very easy to talk to and I could tell that she cared about her job and all of the customers. I ordered a mushroom burger and couldn't decide between the sides so I ordered both the tater tots and the sweet potato fries. Lauren recommended both to me and she was right. The food was absolutely delicious. I was actually very impressed. I'm not usually a fan of tater tots (the public school cafeteria experience am I right?) but these were perfectly crispy and delicious. The burger was perfectly cooked and the flavor was great. The mushrooms and the arugula were very fresh and not just hidden under sauce and cheese. The banana pudding was delicious and being from Georgia, I'm very picky with my banana pudding. We had a team dinner here just over a week ago. I can't comment on the actual menu since to make things easier we were limited on what we could order. However, the servicer was excellent and food came out great. It was busy night for one server but she performed well under the stress, or lack of because she seemed to handle it well. She was able to get drink orders served despite the large number of people in her section demanding drinks and ordering food. We really like this place! We've been ordering take-out from here recently, and they always get the order just right, and everything is packaged nicely. Usually we get burgers (of course), but they also have a delicious fried chicken sandwich, and tonight I wanted something healthier so I got the Greek Salad. It was huge, with grilled chicken, garbanzo beans, lettuce, tomato, radishes, olives, pepperoncini peppers, cucumbers and feta cheese. The lemon vinaigrette was delicious!
