Americans shouldn't eat burgers outside of America. We have too high expectations and standards when it comes to a good ol' burger. This place is attractive with a long line, guaranteed fresh beef, and homemade sauces. You also bubble in what burger you want, type of sauces & extras, and the type of potato sides you'd like. We waited about 45 min in total from end of line to getting our food. Not worth the wait.. The burger itself was good, pink tinged inside and charred on the outside. The classic white bun is too thick in my opinion, too much bun to meat ratio. The French fries were mediocre, too well done and not fluffy enough. Note to self: do not try a burger spot just out of curiosity- better to stick with the food specialty of the country. read more

Oh my I loved everything about this place. First off the service is wonderful. The guy at the counter was so enthusiastic and made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant even though it was pretty busy. Love the fact that they have menu's in english. You order by first checking off the items you want on a pamphlet and then present that to the cashier so nothing is lost in translation. Now for the actual burger! I think this may very well be the best burger Ive had. Anywhere! I mean the craftsman ship alone is award winning. Its so well plated I almost didn't want to touch it. The quality of beef they use is above fresh. It was definitely high quality meat. If you decided to go with the organic grass fed beef its only .50 more, which I thought had to be a typo lol. They also run a video in the restaurant showing the farm where the cows are raised. Its a small local farm that uses ethical practices and it shows in the taste of the beef. I cant recall the name of the burger I had but it had manchego cheese, bacon and caramelized onions on it. Dear lord the flavors paired so well with each other it was party in each bite. However, the caramelized onions were the star of the show. Those little suckers are amazing. I suggest ordering extra, you wont be disappointed. The burgers are also huge! If you're a light eater definitely consider sharing one. The only thing I didnt care for was their house made ketchup. Which is probably because my unsophisticated palate is used to that highly processed junk Heinz puts out. But they also make their own mayo which is on the burgers and that was delicious. Heads up, your order takes a little time to come out. Likely due to it being freshly made and of course the place is usually pretty busy. I mean it was good, yes, & I just might return to Kiosko for it, if I ever find myself in the Barceloneta area, but yeah, I can't say that I "need" to return to Kiosko for their veggie burger. Who goes to burger places for their veggie burger anyway, right? Maybe like 1 out of 15 people. So yeah, this review is just for the veggies out there, so for the majority of peeps, don't let this influence what might just turn out to be your best burger experience in the whole of Barcelona. Service: just the typical staff behind the desk like a fast-food restaurant. Nothing to be critized. Service speed was just normal. Place: the restaurant is very small, just for eating in 10 min and leave. It's very narrow, specially when is crowded. Stumbled upon this place when walking to barceloneta. I don't eat meat so I can't speak to what the majority of the burgers taste like but i had the vegan burger and I really enjoyed it. The concept of the place is that you walk in and fill out s card with what you want. You can make alterations to any order like adding extras, changing the type of bread, and picking different sides and sauces. I liked this and so I added cheese and pickles to my vegan burger and also got a side of the fries. The food came quickly and it was very tasty. I think this is a good place to have a quick bite but you should be aware that the burgers are large and so this is definitely a heavy meal- I was sooooo full after snd probably ate a little bit too much for how much walking I was about to do! read more

SO DELICIOUS! I got the Roost, which is a chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon. The sauce was amazing and all the different layers of ingredients complemented each other to make an incredible chicken sandwich. I also got a side of fries, which I would definitely recommend. However, there are some seats by the line which barely gives you any room to pull out the chair and dine. Everything seems done in-house and the quality of the ingredients are excellent. Please note that this place is very close to some of the best dives I've tried in Barcelona (e.g., el Vaso de Oro and Can Paixano), and it became a must for my next visit. This is the food you will ever eat. The place is almost always crowded and there isn't much room to sit, but the quality of all their products is more than enough to make up for it. As someone who had thousands of burgers in my life in hundreds of different places i feel very competent to judge the burger quality. Kiosko burgers are really great 5 out of 5 stars. Probably not the greatest, but really really good. The bread is (often) fresh, meat is very juicy and of fantastic taste, the extras are fresh and generously added and the whole package is delivered professionally. On the downside I must say that due to a fantastic quality-price ratio, the demand for the burgers is huge, which makes the queues enormously long (30min+) most of the evenings. I think that raising the prices would not only improve the revenues for the place, but also would increase the customer satisfaction for many of us. Perhaps introducing an evening tax may help reducing the queues. I for sure would come much more frequently had there been shorter queues. One other thing that management could work on is educating their customers that the 6e-a-burger place is not for hanging out but rather for eating. Sometimes it has been really annoying to see a group of several people with nerdy glasses sitting there for ages drinking their beer after the burger, while a crowd of other people wait for a seat. While I was on vacation in Barcelona I was a bit over tapas and paella. We came across this gem just walking around and was stoked they had a black bean option for us vegetarians. I loved that it was build your own. I got a black bean burger with avocado, grilled onions, and their special mayo sauce. Wow! The burger could barely fit in my mouth but I made sure I was able to eat every bite I could. As messy as the burger was it was worth every finger lick.
