    Legit Patty Melt
    Tom P.

Expensive but only compared to other local food places. Totally normal prices if you are from America. Cool place, great staff, fun music and LEGIT food. I got the Patty Melt and it was on point. Good curly fries too. It is kind of cheesy to get American food in Spain but I have been over here for about a month and eaten many amazing things but tonight I just felt like an old school burger and the Patty Melt jumped out at me. Easy to give a 5 star review.

So this is Big Al's. The best in Spain according to one Sitges website that we read. We also read about queues out the door. But, come on, can it really be that good? We arrived at one, when they opened, but they told us they weren't open yet. The extra walk we took just built up our appetites. And boy did we need some space! The Big Al is a big 13-Euros, 4-patties kind of a burger, with minimal salad, a decent amount of melted cheese and some sauce that helps draw out the best of the meat flavour, without drowning it. The bean burger is also might fine, full of flavour and with great texture. It's a bit crumbly, but we let them off that because bean burgers are hard to hold together and the quality was otherwise high. Then there were curly fries. For me, curly fries don't cut the mustard. But for my eating partners, they were top notch. We were done after the burger and fries. No need for anything else and we were glad not to have ordered starters even those coming out of the kitchen looked great. For drinks, we ordered from the 8-strong craft beer menu and we were not disappointed - fresh, crisp beers hit the spot. The other clientele were in their 20s and 30s except for one elderly couple who obviously know a good thing when they see it.

Favorite American food place! Everything I miss from California I have here! The food is amazing, the ketchup is actually better here than back at home and the staff is very nice. The only probably it's far from Barcelona!

Not much to say other than AMAZINGLY GOOD! Great service and hot, fresh burger and fries!!!!!

Great Burgers!!!!! Great Service!!!! We went for a late lunch, got in just in time. Small space so be prepared to wait, but well Worth it. Our waiter very friendly and provided Great service with our hot and delicious meal!!!!

Me and my fat friends have never ever in our existence ate such exquisite and full burgers in our entire lives.

Everyone raved about the burgers so I was skeptical. I was not disappointed! Can't wait to go back! The mushroom burger was incredible!!

Two thumbs up! Great burgers, quality and service. Had the small burger, trust me it's not "small". Would recommend...

Given how "alternative" it is, we're always surprised by the lack of Vegan-friendly eateries in…read moreSitges. We found this place completely by chance but thank goodness we did. It overlooks the promenade and seafront and has a range of veggie and Vegan options on the menu including a 'Vegan Burger with Chips' which is lovely. Next time we go back we'll try the 'Vegan Goan Curry' which looks great. They have soy milk too and were happy to Vegan-ise drinks that were on the menu e.g. they made us a soy café frappé. The do have 'Vegan Chai Latte' listed too. When we last ate at Red Velvet it coincided with the Sitges Tapas Festival. Every participating cafe and restaurant in the town had submitted one tapas dish which could be purchased for a limited period. Hats off to Red Velvet for submitting the only Vegan entry! Apparently they also have Vegan cakes in the Summer. A shame that they don't do them all year round! A great place for lunch (they only open in the evenings during the Summer season) and highly recommended. Fantastic, friendly service too

Four stars because the everything in the picture is right. The interior is fresh looking, if I'd…read moresay 'modern rustic' that would not be fair. It's modern with a dash of rustic. White and grisblue combined perfectly, the polished slate coloured concrete floor and the Eames chairs give the place a contemporary feel. The tables, counter and wooden balustrade add the 'rustic-ness'. It's very inviting. The restaurant has a small menu (which I think is how it's supposed to be) with vegetarian, gluten free and organic options. There are also dishes that change and are not on the menu. During our visit I've seen several orders for other guests pass by our table that caught my eye! The amuse bouche was very nice. Had one of the organic salads with red beetroot and as main course the chicken teriyaki. Both were very nice. Only thing for me was that the portion was a bit on the small size, partly probably because I didn't eat the rice due to my low carb diet. I was seriously considering having one of the dishes not on the menu: tower of grilled vegetables with a slice of goats cheese on top; it looked so nice every time it passed by our table (-: As a special treat I had a super nice chocolate chip cookie. The texture was just perfect! Extra nice as it was my only carb treat this month. Of course I will have to mention the special display with an assortment of cakes, cookies and cupcakes (also gluten free options). Very, very tempting! Espresso is 100% ecologically grown and the tea organic. All in all the diner experience was very nice. Not at all like most of the tourist oriented places a place like Sitges is obviously littered with. A nice place to relax and enjoy some responsible food!
