We came in after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Being from the US my kids were craving something familiar and this place did not disappoint! The restaurant was so cute for a burger joint and very clean! They were so friendly with suggestions that led to wonderful conversations about travel and how their travels have influenced their cooking and menu. Ok, so I'm doing the international thing right now and still working on that palette. While I've tried everything Spain has to offer, you get a little tired of exploring. Sometimes, you just want a burger. I found a great spot. They did not miss on anything we ordered. My daughter ordered the Anauco burger, my son and I had the the Smash burger, and my wife and youngest daughter did the veggie sandwich. This place was really good. Also, make sure you order a lemonade with gas. Yea, figured that gas in your drink thing out really fast. My daughter told me that I better post. Visiting from the US and I was looking for a good burger place to go with my group that would be open at 7pm. We did not know what to expect and were pleasently surprised by the variety of burgers on the menu. We ordered a mix of burgers and drinks and throughly enjoyed each burger. The meat was cooked to perfection, the bread was local and great tasting and all the fixings on the burgers added to the great flavor. Additionally the fries were seasoned just right. Found this place thanks to all the good reviews on Yelp. This place is located a few streets from La Sagrada Familia. It provides burgers, drinks, English-speaking staff, and wifi! Woohoo! Great for tourists! I ordered the falafel burger even though this place is known for its high-quality meat, because I was trying to be healthy. My BF and his mom ordered two different beef burgers. Every burger is served with fries. I asked to switch the fries out for tostones but you can't switch the fries. Our waitress was so nice and offered to let us try a 1/2 order of tostones. Tostones: 3 mini plaintain discs, topped with a creamy coleslaw and some sauce. Very good, wish I had ordered the whole portion as my meal! Falafel burger: good, home-made. A little dry. The cheese (queso cabra) was a little strong and dry itself. I wish it came with the red pepper-looking relish on my BF's burger to add some more wetness to the burger. Tasted a bit of the meat of the beef burger and was hit by the delicious, juicy, high-quality taste of the burger. It was so good. My bad choice with the falafel burger, I should have ordered what they're known for (any beef burgere). The thick-cut fries that came with the burger were the right amount and you could tell they made them fresh. I asked for the anauco sauce on the side to try their house sauce. It's like a creamy white cilantro sauce. Tasty but I was expecting more flavor. They have indoor and three outdoor tables. Inside is clean, modern, and cool. Bathrooms are complimentary for customers and clean. To echo other reviewers: great burgers here, good service. Try them out if you're near Sagrada Familia and want something other than tapas! Happened to pass this place and entered because we were so hungry. We were looking forward to the burgers since they emphasize that they make their own burgers. Unfortunately, the meat was too rare on the inside and too burnt on the outside. The nachos were okay, nothing very special there. They use some sort of cheese sauce instead of real cheese. We also tried the tequeños which came with a sweet dipping sauce. Again, nothing special. Was a little disappointed since the reviews seem amazing. Definitely the best burgers in all of Spain and one of the best burgers I have had anywhere in the world! The staff were very friendly. The restaurant carries a nice selection of local beers. Only negative from my experience was they happened to run out of tequila the day we were there so I did not get the chance to try the margaritas which they make using a lemon sorbet. read more

By far one of the best burgers we've ever had. Came here reluctantly based on group vote as part of a trip in Barcelona, and was blown away with the quality and flavor of the burgers, not to mention the level of service. At first I was bothered to be eating a burger while in Barcelona, but was I wrong. Enjoyed a very delicious burger. Everyone loved their meal, including appetizers and even a salad. They said the magical words!!! "How do you like your meat?". This is the difference between a burger joint an a gourmet burger in a gastro bar. The place is located one square south of Sagrada Familia and there is plenty of space, also for groups. I went there for the Burger event held by Yelp this month and we were 11. Service was kind and helpful, we ordered some snacks and after we got the burger. I ordered the Anauco from a list that contained several beef burger, chicken, shellfish and veggy. It has arugula, goat cheese, and spicy bell pepper sauce. The bun was fresh and the meat really really tender. Next time though I will ordered it medium, and not medium rare. And the fries were excellent. All together I will say one of the best burgers I have tried in Barcelona. Price is also more that fair. Anauco came up as a place with great burgers so we decided to give it a shot (missing burgers from back home in the States). After our burgers arrived, we were wishing we hadn't come here. This was the worst burgers we've ever had. The meat had an unusual taste...so much so that neither of us could finish our burgers. Instead, we focused on the fries (which were ok) and did our best to power through some of the burger. Then we shared a burger with Gouda and caramelized onion, and it was delicious - the importance in any burger is using the right meat, and the burger was moist, fresh, and very flavorful. Just had a burger called The Bombe with guacamole on it! The beef was excellent and it was cooked perfectly to order. I certainly understand why we were told that it was award-winning. Let me start by saying that everything was really good - except (and it is probably me) the coarsed ground meat. I think it is a particular for how they do it in Spain, but it is too coarsely chopped. Because the beef is the star, I can only give 2 stars. However the staff was great, the decor was nice, the buns awesome, the thick cut fries above standard. So if you are not a stranger to to coarsely chopped ground beef, you should definitely go. If you are used to american style ground meat (double grinded), you might experience similar to myself. read more

Was looking for a good American style burger joint. Reviews were very positive so we were dying to try it out before heading back home to the good old USA. I must say that both my wife and I like our burgers well done... just can't handle under cooked half bloody ground beef. We both ordered the smaller 1/3 pound burger, looked very well done on the outside, but one bite exposed raw hamburger so we sent it back. (I can count the times we've sent food back, heard too many back kitchen horror stories) anyway, it came back just as raw as the first round. I literally can't even. I came here with my boyf and we split the hash burger and the pulled pork. They were both so good! The beers are relatively cheap and the portion size is perfect. We also got a mojito and it was very good and pretty strong. I highly recommend coming here and getting a burger and a drink. Only bad thing we got was the nachos.
