In fact, his proposal included everything needed to properly prepare and establish a healthy lawn, while other estimates we received were significantly more expensive and included less. Michael recommended St. Augustine grass because we have a large dog, and within a week, his team was ready to start the project. He explained the entire process ahead of time and gave me detailed guidance about the watering schedule, mowing schedule, and recommended equipment for maintaining the new lawn. The crew was amazing--efficient, professional, polite, and extremely hardworking. Carlos, the crew lead, was especially impressive. He is calm, knowledgeable, and very detail-oriented. TLDR version: The job ended up requiring 2x the amount of…read moremoney that I was quoted at and took 4x as long - Then they stopped returning my calls and emails without finishing the job! Detailed version: I had a conversation with them to come out and completely fix my sprinkler system as summer started in May. I have a large yard and about 50 sprinklers. I knew the system in my front yard needed particular help. The only time I could schedule was while I was at work. The worker ended up replacing some sprinkler heads, finding a line that had grown into a tree and stopped there. He told my wife we'd need to remove the tree to fix that line; the backyard sprinklers are all fine but there needs to be more work done to the front yard sprinklers. He charged me the quoted amount and left. I had to call to complain, as my system was not fixed. It seemed like he told me what I already knew and left! I got rescheduled for a second visit one month later. The same guy came out again and I told him we don't want to take the tree out and that he should be able to divert the line around the tree. That took most of his visit. He charged me more, but gave me a discount of 3 hours of labor. We rescheduled a third time for another month out so he could fix the rest of the lines because he had another job that he had to get to. His third time out he fixed most of the lines in the front yard but had to rewire a some of the lines that were not syncing to my irrigation system. The rewiring changed the input on the timer and some are still currently out of sync. When he was done, the worker said there were also still some small things that he had to fix in order to complete the job. We had to reschedule a fourth time - another month out - as he had to leave to get to another job. The worker told me that he would charge me during the next visit. His fourth time out was meant to be the last time he needed to come. I made it clear that I wanted to check every line with him before he left. He fixed the remaining lines that needed work in the front yard, then we checked each line on my irrigation system as I requested. As it turned out, several lines in my backyard were showing an error code and not working, despite him promising me that every line was working. He told me that he would have to schedule another visit as he had to get to another job. He charged me a discounted rate and then left. I tried to reach out to the company through email and texted the worker's personal phone number that he gave me - to no avail. I didn't receive a response to my emails or texts. I wanted this job to be done at the quoted amount at the beginning of summer... but instead I had to (and still do) manually water the areas that are not working. This takes away time from me being with my wife, my 7 month old baby (currently - 3 month old in May), and my four year old. It ended up costing double the initial quote, quadruple the amount of time, and the job is not finished. I would NEVER call this company again.
