Excellent food! We have tried several menu items and have yet to find any item we don't love. Fresh and delicious salads, my favorite is the Greek salad with chicken. This place surprisingly has the best ribs! The meat falls right off the bone, they are really fantastic. I have used these guys for catering as well and everyone always loves it! Burgers were good. Sort of greasy but hey without the grease it wouldn't be a burger but too much grease just didn't taste right. Got fries with the burgers. Fries are hand cut or machine cut at the restaurant. They got my order mixed up. Ordered 1/2lb burger and 1/3lb cheeseburger. Burgers got reversed, got 1/2lb cheeseburger and 1/3lb burger. Order was input right but the cooks got it mixed up. Whatever!!! Also, ordered a turkey sub, mediocre at best. I thought I would get real turkey carvings or shavings like the turkey just got cooked and it's ready for carving or shavings but nope just got regular turkey slices that looks like it came out of a store packaging. Maybe some melted swiss cheese would of help the sub get more of a apealing taste and look, but it wasn't offered to me. Oh well. The restaurant was clean for restaurant standards. Table and chairs were greasy and looks like the place overall needed a good scrubbing down. Overall, place was busy and got busier when we sat to eat. But, I always get a feeling when I come into a restaurant it is not as busy but after I order or walk into a place people start coming in. My wife calls it a blessing and I am blessing the restaurant making money for them. However, I want to come back to place and try their chicken wings (jumbo) and gyros plate. Not sure if they have chicken gyros. Hopefully they do but I didn't ask. Would give this place 3.5 stars but not an option. I love this place. I've been going here for over 5 years now and the food is always great. I won't lie though, sometimes placing an order by phone is not so fun (sometimes they forget about you and keep you on hold for like 5 minutes). Prices 8. to 12. for great food.. Parking is their lot at the door. They have a Chicago beef , Philly that are great but when you go from there the salads, pastas almost everything else on the bill are made from fresh top ingredients.What you order and all you order is almost more than you can eat. I've given this place 3 chances now and not one good experience. The cashiers rush you wether it's busy or slow and they're never friendly or helpful. I'm a huge fan of gyros and their gyros was terrible, their chicken was average at best. My friend had their new style cheese burger since they recently changed their burgers and said it was good. I dodged a bullet. I was going to have a function catered by Backyard Grill but due to their total disregard for my time and the mediocre food I received on my to go order today, I think not. First of all my food sat on the counter for 10 to 15 minutes while I waited for it, which was comical being that there were only 2 people in the restaurant. This is a true hidden gem!! So many choices on the menu and such big portions! I should have taken pictures of my lunch but it was so good it didn't last. I love their gyros and pitas. We always order a few extra pitas on the side because the kids love them and I like 2 smaller gyros better than one big one. Their kebabs are good, my daughter likes the chicken strips. Everybody talks about the cashier. He's so funny, yeah a big crab but he's trying harder now and he's actually smiled at us and asks how we're doing. People are so critical these days, trying to get back at these mom and pop places because they've been slighted. Who cares? What counter type restaurant gives unbelievable service? I called for a lunch pickup and ordered a BLT with avocado and cheese fries. The guy said 10 minutes and i got there in about 5 and it was already ready- even though the place was packed!! I wish they would've had other bread (like multi-grain) instead of just sour-dough but I'm not that picky. The sandwich was excellent and the cheese fries were average (no better or worse than most places like this). I'd go back for sure. The special on the menu board was pulled pork sandwiches.. I just received an order from them and it is absolutely horrible. The fries are hard and apparently not salted. The Italian beef seemed to have mozzarella cheese not fully melted, so it was rubbery, and the beef itself wasn't good either. I just threw out my lunch and ordered from somewhere else. Have been here a few times because a friend and her daughter really love it. The food is not bad but the last time we went I ordered the children's chicken meal and the chicken was horrible. It looked like it had been cooked for a week! I broke it open and there was absolutely nothing you could salvage and it was cold to boot! It looked and I imagine tasted like rubber. Very nicely I took it to the counter and they were very nice and replaced it with chicken that was properly cooked. I received my meal at the same time, the spinach pie which I really, really do enjoy. It has a great taste. But this time the spinach pie and the rice was cold I don't mean even lukewarm I mean cold! Bit my tongue on that one it tasted good and I certainly didn't need to return a second meal and get it back with spit in it. So I guess it's a hit or miss here. And I agree with other reviews, the guy usually running the register is quite unfriendly. read more

Great food! We've been going here for years and love everything on their menu! This place has a sentimental value to us since this was the last restaurant our family went out to dinner to before our 12 yr old son passed away. He loved their Spinach Pie. I love their salads! Obviously Oliver's review was written by the "rude cashier guy" himself. Every time I've been in this place the rudeness and SLOW service are always the same and not just the cashier. If there was a fire, the staff would all burn because they only move at one speed. Im done! Some food items are good, some are not. Overpriced. Plenty of much better Greek fast food in the area.
