Was in town for a soccer id camp with my 16 year old, on way out of town found this place from…read morereviews. Atmosphere was that of a fun college dive bar. From the parts I got to see inside was small table seating around the bar. We got lucky to sit in at the outdoor covered patio seating which was great minus perhaps some outdoor heaters to warm it up a bit. Service was good overall. Servers were fun and helpful. Service a bit slow on our drink refills but the food running and table bussing was fast. Food was great, wished I had taken pics to share. Menu consisted of a good selection of apps, sandwiches, burgers and sides. Everything we tried was great. Chicken nachos were awesome, wish they had been a bit bigger but the topping portions was perfect and the taste amazing. The Cuban and fried pork chop sandwiches were again great and the spicy sweet potato fries were so good. Potion sizes were good and the food tasty. The nachos and spicy sweet potato fries were my faves. While probably not the place for young families, this was a hidden gem and fantastic find. Not really for those in wheelchairs as it is tight getting through the bar area, but there was a small ramp I recall. Bathrooms could use some work, about what you'd expect at your local dive bar but only a single stall and could be cleaner. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped in for a quick bite and brew. Service was friendly and attentive. In a casual pub…read moreatmosphere. Ate a pastrami Reuben, which was good. Everything came out fresh and hot. Would definitely come back here again Follow me on Instagram and yelp @noodlesoupr

Let me preface by saying I don't typically write restaurant reviews unless the place is absolutely…read morefabulous or horribly bad. Let me also say that I am the consummate "foodie", my life has been driven by my passion for all types of food. When I dine, I try to go into the restaurant with no expectations, so you can pretty much trust what I am telling you about the experience. With that being said, we had just moved to Greenville a few days before and decided we needed to treat ourselves after the week of moving and unpacking. We decided on The Rickhouse, notwithstanding the fact that my first name is Rick! Anyway, we were sat immediately, and were approached quickly by our waiter, Christian. In short, Christian was fabulous throughout the entire meal, even considering the fact that it was only his first week on the job. He certainly has a flair for waiting tables. We ordered drinks and I have had a fair amount of Grey Goose dirty martinis in my life and let me tell you, the bartender knocked this one out of the ballpark. One of the best I have ever had anywhere! We ordered an app, the Chef Crab Dip and it was wonderful. Not too crabby, perfect blend of cheeses and pita chips that I am pretty sure are house-made. I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu which was absolutely out of this world! I got to sample the other two entrees at the table, which were the Garlic Parm Chicken Pasta and the special that evening, which was a bacon wrapped Filet Mignon topped with a bacon jam. Both of them were also to die for! We didn't have dessert as we were stuffed already. The bill was $189, which I didn't consider bad as we had an app, three entrees and six drinks. While some might consider that a lot for dinner, I'm also the guy that doesn't bat an eye at spending $600 for a dinner for two at a gourmet French restaurant. Anyway, I can't recommend The Rickhouse enough. Everything from start to finish was just about as perfect of an experience as you can get at a restaurant! I just hope our next visit will be as wonderful as our first!

When I drove in to the place, I was very close to turn and run. :) I am glad I did not. Nicely done…read moreinside, good bar area, good seating areas, nice decor. However, the best part was the service. For the course of a dinner at least four times service staff stopped by and asked if everything was to hour satisfaction. It was, the shrimp and steak appetizer was up to par, the ribeye steak was cooked just as I ordered it. Reasonable menu at the bar, they even had Kentucky Trace allocated bourbons - I had Eagle Rare. Got to give it to them - really nice place.

Another good thing about this place is if you don't like beer they usually always have some wine options as well. I think I've usually seen like one white and one red. And because you control how much it really depends on how much you end up spending. Service is great you mostly only have to talk to the staff and the beginning and end since the rest is your job. Overall great place, I love coming here when I'm in town.

You give them your ID and card up front, receive a wrist band, and then pour. If you have issues with pouring a giant beer, just tell the staff and they'll show you how to do it right. Thomas was the person who greeted us and helped us throughout the process and he's actually legit the best (but read "the worst" because I want him to be my new BFF and not yours). Monday has cheap drinks, Tuesday is Music Bingo, and Wednesday is $1/ounce wine. You can't beat this place! Come here, Greenville!! Also, as an aside, my friend from Charlotte was hesitant to come here but I talked her into it and she loved it so much as well! We are competing for Thomas' best friendship.
