I had stuffed scallops, but they were not rinsed so there was sand in them. But the waitress was great and tried to make it up to us by comping a dessert (homemade donut with whipped cream which was very nice). As newcomers to Rocky Mount, we weren't sure what to expect, but the regulars and locals have been incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's rare to find a place where both the staff and customers make you feel like part of the community from day one. One experience that truly shows how much they care was when we were having trouble getting an Uber home because the driver couldn't find where we lived (yes, lol!).
