First time trying Backwood Burritos after walking by it multiple times and I will be back! Got the outlaw burrito and it was delicious! Eggs, chili, and the chipotle crema made it super creamy and the bacon provided a good texture difference. Chorizo was excellent providing a punch of spice and salt. Only thing is that it was a little hard to tell there was supposed to be tater tots in it, as they seemed to get lost in the rest of the ingredients. Tortilla was also very good, could tell it was high quality. Staff is super friendly (just 1 guy and his burrito cart) and price is good for the quality of the ingredients. ~$12 for the one I got which is the most expensive. Definitely a must try for Arcata! still do not know the hot spots around here but the 2 i tried to get breakfast at had a line (so likely are good) but i didn't want to wait. Grabbed a coffee at Jitter bean then a Burrito here...only 1 meat burrito left so gave it to the boy and just took a few bites. the guy working the cart was super friendly and kind. it's a quick and easy breakfast! size was a bit small for the price but does seem to be the standard size in relation to other burrito spots in Arcata (i'm used to San Diego which is on another level of Mexican food). solid food easy access get it while you can for best selection. great service. seems to be a popular pick around here. read more

Best Burritos I had while visiting Eureka/ Humboldt area. Was just looking for a breakfast spot and I decided to try this out with my wife and we were not disappointed. Bro was very nice and friendly when we got our burritos. We got the Outlaw, Bandit, Sidekick and the secret Early Bird Special. All of which were fantastic!!! My personal fav was the Outlaw and my Wife loved the early bird special. The sauce in the burrito was just the cherry on top, really delicious. They were so good we came back the next day to get more . This is a must have if you're in the area or passing by. If I ever get a chance to come and visit again this is the first thing I'm getting hand down. read more

One man show small business that is slinging some really good breakfast burritos. Slowly they have become my favorite in the area. Something really delicious about the sauce and he is the only one I know of locally using hash browns in the burrito which gives it a nice crunch. The tortilla is folded really nice too and is addicting. Service always on point and business has expanded to new locations. read more

Decided to grab some breakfast on this fine weekend morning and BOY were we glad we finally gave this place a shot. Sauce on this burrito was SO dang good!! Fast service and nice staff with a super high quality burrito; a very filling breakfast stuffed with eggs and bacon and potatoes and did I mention that chili sauce?? There is really not much more to say here other than that these are one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever eaten and they are served up by a cheerful and pleasant person who is always a delight to interact with. My only request would be to add a kids breakfast burrito to the menu! Something with no spicy-ness. My kids love these burritos but can only handle a couple bites before the spice takes over. With that said, I bring everyone who visits us to this cart and it is a massive hit every time. read more
