We cooked allot in the condo and everything was perfect for what we needed. We had a one bedroom condo with a sleeper for our 16yr old daughter. I would recommend that the adjoining door the opens to out condo if needed needs some kind of noise barrier. We could hear kids playing right on other side, plus people talking very clearly. These are so…read morebad that if you want to get out of a timeshare, you usually need to hire a lawyer to get out of it because of how badly they lock you in. Thus, don't sign up for a timeshare unless you know you really really want it as they can be useful if you're looking for something specific (ex: doing a yearly trip at the same timeframe) This business in particular tricks you by not telling you about the exorbitant maintenance fees you have to pay every single year. You get credits every single year and those credits don't carry over. However, what you get is a really high quality resort here. It has so many amenities that you could literally spend a whole day using the resort facilities instead of going out in town. They have a big clubhouse and a small clubhouse. Their public amenities include outdoor swimming pools, outdoor jacuzzi, half basketball court, golf range, golf course, library, business center, restaurant, tennis court, pickleball, small fitness area, billards, a cafe/dessert bar. The swimming pools are closed during the winter which makes me wonder why they weren't indoor pools so that they can be open year round. They've got plenty of tea, coffee, and cider in the main office building too. There's just so much to do here. What's amazing about this place is that each place is its own separate home. This pretty much ensures you'll get peace and quiet during your sleep since you don't share a wall with any other neighbors. The place is decked out to be like an extended stay: there's multiple TV's, a washer and dryer, multiple tables and couches, a full set of kitchenware from blenders, coffee makers, cooking pots, oven, microwave, and more. What's amazing to me was their outdoor hot tub which is fantastic. You get your own personal parking space in front of the cabin as well. The whole area is clean and well kept. Overall, it's a pretty amazing resort. It's a darn shame that it's locked behind scummy timeshare practices. It'd be way better if you could just book these like a normal hotel stay.

The cuteness of the restaurant was so inviting- the restaurant looks like a log cabin with outdoor lighting streaming from it. The restaurant is nested at the base of the hill up to Snowbowl, and next to the Basecamp hotel. We settled in for a couple of drinks outside- Outside space is sprinkled with some comfy lounge chairs, outdoor firepits, games and more. All with a beautiful view of the sky, mountains and forest. This is a very relaxing place to enjoy the beautiful sky and some drinks. And the staff at the bar were super friendly. The drinks are also very reasonable in price. Cons: Elevator didn't work and overhead light fixture inside the door didn't work and the cover was off of the light fixture. There was no action taken by the front desk person to make things better for me, the customer. La Quintas now have this great looking common area with a bar, lots of seating and all but no one is ever working the bar and it's dark due to not enough lighting. Very unwelcoming actually. I'm an older guy and limp around a bit so elevator not working is a problem. Fortunately our also older dog wasn't with us so I didn't have to carry her up the stairs to the 2nd story. We have stayed at 3 La Quintas in the last few weeks and 2 of them had elevators that didn't work. I am a long time La Quinta customer but now will not stay not only at La Quinta but also other Wyndham properties. Too many, if not all, are franchises and not corporately owned and managed. Wyndham seems to take no oversight responsibility for the properties and that's enough for me, as a gold rewards member and Wyndham credit card user to give them no more of my business.

I know many of the reviews said that it was amazing and I think it comes down to your preference of mattress. It is a memory foam so we found that when we laid in one position, we sunk deep down into it and when you went to roll to your side, you got stuck in that divot. -AC: Boy does it get the room cold! I always run cold and was very uncomfortable. My husband always runs hot and loved it. So just depends on your preference. Mostly an issue because we couldn't get it to regulate to somewhere in the middle. - Couch: It looks super cute aesthetically! And it pulls out to a sleeper bed for extra room if you're coming with more people. We were trying to sit on it and watch a movie for a quiet night in and as soon as you sit on it, the bottom part rolls out from under you, wanting to go into sleep mode. We spent more time adjusting the couch than sitting on it, making it very uncomfortable. Cons: -Check Out: They expect you to wash the dishes you use. Thankfully, we brought our own sponges because the only cleaning item they give you is a bristle brush. They also ask that you bag and dispose of your own trash. Not a huge deal as the big dumpster is right next to where you drive out. Personally, I feel like these should come with part of the cleaning after you leave though. -Cleaning: You text the cleaner when you leave. While the main room and the bedroom are very clean, the bathroom was not. The toilet had a toilet ring and there was curly hair left on the bathroom floor when we arrived from the previous person. Overall, most issues are a preference thing. The couch and the bed were really the huge issue for us that would make it where we would not come back simply out of needing a good night sleep.
