We loved this place! I've been coming to the village since I was born and I'm 32 and am ashamed to say I have never once stayed here.. and for that, I am sorry. My fiancé I were having a getaway with our family and decided to come up a day earlier than them for some alone time. We ended up extending our stay and ditched our family at the AirBnB. The staff was amazing- a huge GREEN FLAG was Heather walking us into our room and showing us around. Not just a key distribution and a "see ya later". She even made s'mores baskets for everyone for the nightly fire they have in the courtyard. The pool is really nice, the hot tub was the spot at night. We met some awesome people there. The room is clean, the bed was so comfy. Also the walking trail ON property? Perfect for a morning walk or hike without breaking a sweat. I cannot wait to come back here-

We drove in late from Flagstaff and woke up to the most amazing views from our chalet. Absolutely gorgeous! After a quick early morning hike we came back and jumped in the pool. What a tough life! We all decided then and there that we would be back and stay for a few days next time. One night wasn't enough. Our party of nine shared 2 chalets and it was a perfect amount of space for families. If you have the opportunity, this is a really fantastic resort. Not a big footprint, but packs in the amenities. Trails right outside the front door, the best views of the red rocks of Sedona, friendly and helpful staff that is happy to host you, grills and kitchens so you can stay a while, and a fantastic pool and hot tubs to relax after adventuring. A++

This place ROCKS! Just stayed at Red Agave Resort, we LOVED it! So beautiful, staff is welcoming and very accommodating. Great for dogs, kids and everyone. Went mountain biking and hiking and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend.

We absolutely LOVED this place! It was clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful and everything is well thought out. Having those views AND a trailhead just steps away from your door was everything!! We will definitely be back and are telling everyone we know about this gem!

Such a beautiful place to stay at if you're in Sedona. Located near bell rock pathway. You could Practically walk to the trial. About 15 mins away from uptown Sedona but not as busy as uptown. Very close to many restaurants and bars. The resort is connected to a private trail that is a beautiful walk if you wanted to take a little stroll but not go too far. It also has a community pool and fire pit that is lit every night until 9ish pm. S'mores are also located at the front if you wanted. We stayed at Cathedral Rock house which was super cute! it had so much personality. It felt homey. The bathroom looked renovated and loved the shower heads. Would stay her again if in town.

I'm writing this review from the living room of the Apache Leap(aka Chalet A) at the Red Agave Resort. The Fam. and I have enjoyed our stay at the Red Agave so much so that we will honestly miss it when we leave. The Red Agave Resort sits in Oak Creek Village which is 6 miles or so south of Sedona. Behind the resort are homes and neighborhoods and in front is some of the most amazing scenery you could want while staying at a resort. Apache Leap sits at the north end of the property and is the very last chalet on that end of the property. I recommend shelling out the extra bucks for a chalet if you're traveling with more than two people. There is a bedroom downstairs that has a king sized bed and a loft upstairs that has a full size and twin bed. The loft is accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase. The bathroom is located on the main floor. There is a smart tv for your viewing enjoyment and a comfy couch and chair to sit in. The floor is made up of tile which helps keep the place cool. AC units are in the downstairs bedroom and loft. It takes a while to cool the chalet down because of the vaulted ceilings. There is a kitchenette if you would like to cook your own food, however; you are very limited on cooking equipment. If you choose to cook, don't plan anything complicated. The only spices available are salt an pepper. There is a coffee pot and surprisingly good coffee as well. Gas grills are available in the courtyard for your use, however; you may need to do some cleaning beforehand. You'll find your fellow resort guest tend to not practice proper communal grill etiquette. There are a total of 9 chalets and 5 studios on the property. There is a very small pool on the property that is nice. Instead of having steps to get into it there is a gently sloping ramp for you to walk down. The water temperature is like bath water but, still refreshing on a hot day. Two spas are available as well. The pool capacity is limited to 20 people and the both spas are limited to 4 people each. I think if you got 20 people in the pool you'd need a lubricant to get them out. Yes, it is that small. You can't beat the views from the Red Agave. They change daily based upon the weather. As I stated earlier, you are 6 miles south of Sedona. Clerk's market is about 1 mile south of the Red Agave, however; it is limited in what it has to offer and is kind of like a Whole Foods. There are really no restaurants of note in Oak Creek Village. So if you want to go to SafeWay or find a great place to eat, you'll have to go to Sedona, which can take 20 minutes to half hour or more. There are 6 roundabouts between Oak Creek Village and Sedona and the main roundabout where 89A meets 179 is a bear. Traffic on Fridays and the weekends makes getting around Sedona very time consuming. If you are heading to uptown Sedona, parking is a big issue. especially on the weekends. The local businesses are VERY territorial when it comes to people parking and will not hesitate to tow your car.....even if that business is closed on a Sunday.

Such a beautiful place. We have been here a few times and loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding here. We reserved the entire place and had our families come from out of town. The hiking trail is easy access, the pool is amazing to use during the summer and there's so much space yet have privacy with each chalet. We will definitely be back

Such a lovely place to spend a few days among the red rocks. It's quiet, spacious and has beautiful views

This place was truly magical!! Brittany was super awesome and helpful even though we drove in very late, my apologies. This is way more than a resort, it's really an Airbnb and resort all wrapped into one. You literally get the entire cake with this place. The studio rooms were very spacious and lots of amenities, I could be here all day naming them. The salt water pools were even better in person and with the view behind you it still wouldn't of mattered if they were chlorine. They also have your personal own grill to bbq with the views!! Thank you for having me and my family we will be back again and again!!

Bonus to be able to bring the dogs!

Ask the Community - Red Agave Resort

Do we have to bring our own fire wood for the fire pit?

No, they will provide everything you need including everything to make s’mores. Our experience was so great the front desk lady even brought my mom and grandma some blankets for the cold and gave us all freshly made cookies.

Are there ovens in the suites?

    My suite had a microwave.

Are there kitchen essentials like cooking spray in the kitchens?

No cooking spray. Just salt n pepper. Creamer and coffee. Great place. You'll enjoy!

My biggest complaint is the bed in the honeymoon suit. As you see in the pictures, the mattress did not fit in the bed frame and I thought that was a very tacky and unsafe. It was about a 6 inch gap all around and I was afraid that I would forget and step wrong and hurt myself. Also, the chair in the master bedroom Had a screw poking out that was uncomfortable so we did not use that chair. Lastly the only meat options on the breakfast menu was a chicken sausage, and it was very sweet like maple and I personally did not enjoy it. Now that I have told you my dislikes, here are my likes. The scenery was beautiful! We did the honeymoon suite and each door in it (the bathroom, bedroom, and living room each had a door that opened up to the patio/outside.) listening to the creek was nice! They have a gazebo as well and seating on the porch with blankets. They have a microwave and mini fridge and they provided grapes when we arrived. Day 2 they provided cute little chocolate mousse desserts. For a refresh/turndown, you text the concierge. The tub was big and deep definitely fit 2 people. It's my understanding that the honeymoon suit is the only one with the separate living room/bathroom/bedroom set up. I liked the space and separate rooms, which is why we picked this particular room (Also, just an FYI, looking at the pictures online, it looks like the furniture in the honeymoon suite is outdated/Victorian style compared to the other rooms that they have, but expected this going in because I looked at the photos ahead of time). I would consider coming back here, but for the price, the mattress needs to fit the bed frame
