The Smoked Mac is so nice and creamy, made with Velveta and cream cheese and several other ingredients. Add the Brisket and some sauce on top. Super tasty. The Pasta Salad has broccoli,carrots, cauliflower and two types of cubed cheese (Colby and Sharp). Makes for a yummy salad. It's always a great day when I get to see some of the top people in BBQ. The young gal manning the window was polite and friendly. I went with a Chicken Torta, and took it back home to eat, because there are no tables to eat in this parking lot; it's basically a to-go operation. The Mexican sandwich was made fresh to order. Like how they chop the chicken up into smaller pieces. Could have used a tiny bit more filling, but not gonna complain. I liked the sandwich, and double-points for the foil wrapping inside the styrofoam container - held nicely for the ride home and was easy to eat.

The Macaroni and cheese was made with Sharp Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheese. Looks this would score off the chart but it was a bit too salty for me. The small coleslaw was nothing special. On to dessert. The crust was just a generic tasting crust, the sauce was nice and flavorful with a great big whipped topping on it which was delicious. Definitely a privileged problem to have, but I'm here to say you should save Da Que in your phone or old school memory bank. Because the diverse selection of smoked meats as sandwichs or platters at Da Que are worth the stop. It sits just a mile or so off 33 and isn't visible from the road. In fact no commercial establishments make you assume it is a farms only exit. But get off the road for a quick stop. Four of us getting out of Columbus before rush hour stopped for a late lunch and were glad we did. Pulled pork, brisket, chicken all available as sandwiches and range of sides including slaw, baked beans, mac and cheese and cheesy potatoes. Next time I'm going to be brave and try the brisket and mac and cheese burrito! The pitmaster was on the register and kept apologizing for being out of his element as he struggled to find the right buttons to push on the register. But honestly good fun to laugh with him as we all outside our lanes as we were still decked out in formal conference attire. But our common love for smoked anything and everything was the common thread. And I haven't done it but clearly catering is a core dimension of their business. The pulled pork was on a grilled bun. The pork was a little dry to me. They have two sauces that you can have. Both are homemade. The regular was a little sweet and had a nice taste to it. The spicy had a little heat to it. Both were homemade and great. The mac n cheese was of the baked variety with plenty of cheese in it. They utilize spiral noodles in their variation. The baked beans were made with brown sugar and some pepper added, very tasty, great texture (will return just for them). The cole slaw is of the sweet variety, was made with several types of cabbage, carrots, celery salt and pepper.
