Here at Back Country Binders 4x4 we are known for our full service quality and attention to detail. We have 6 departments: Retail, Wholesale, Fabrication & Welding, Restoration, Spray Lining, and Service Work. In other words one stop shop.
We specialize in the International Harvester brand but hold the same goals, values, and ideals when dealing with any make or model of truck, suv, as well as the occasional car, hot rod or muscle car.
For your vehicle we can supply you with parts, install anything we sell, troubleshoot problems, replace glass, do spray in bed lining from your bed to custom applications.
Some spray lining applications include: The underside of hot rod fenders to prevent rock dings, Interior of your 4x4 or hotrod for sound deadening, metal motorcycle gas tanks for grip, etc. Our setup is portable should you need us to come to your home and do a retaining wall, above patio deck, top of your RV, Interior of your boat, dock floats, etc.

History
Established in 1998.
Back Country Binders was started in 1996 unofficially, and 1998 officially in a one car garage at 1225 McGee Street in Pullman Washington while a Sophomore at Washington State University. Go Cougs!! The short version is i stayed there an additional year after my 1999 Graduation with a Doulble Major and a minor. I received a BA in Entrepreneurship (one of the first 2 to graduate this new major), a BA in Business Management, and a minor in Management Information Systems (MIS).
I then moved back to the area i grew up in Kitsap County. Living and working my way up in shop size from a 2 car garage behind Kitsap Lake to the 607 Charlotte Ave W, Unit B spot. An old meat storage place in the 1930's with add ons. In 2019 I will be moving again (hopefully the last time..lol).
Meet the Business Owner: John F.
John is a gearhead that loves all things gas/diesel powered. He started fixing family vehicles at age 6 with his father. Scrapping motorized machines and anything just to see how and why they worked was another pastime. This grew into motorcycles at age 10 where he fixed, repaired, & sold them. At age 14 he learned to drive in a 1929 Dump truck on his Uncles Farm in Pennsylvania. He was introduced to 4x4 trucks with his fathers 1948 Willies P/U. Then At age 16 John bought his first car a 1969 Dodge Charger S.E. (that he still owns to this day).
His interests were rooted in the outdoors & channeled even more so in the Boy Scouts. He graduated WSU in business while starting BCB
4 wheeling and nature came together to form a lasting passion that John enjoys to this very day spending as much time outdoors be it hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, wheeling, or riding Rokons, Motorcycles, or 3 wheelers. Considered by many to be a 4x4 outdoorsman and "John of all trades".
