I came across Anthony over social media. He's located in the Stutz Building downtown, so it's close to where I live. He also had a weekend appointment available for a 60-minute massage, so I decided to give him a try based on the other reviews online. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my appointment, which was recommended in my pre-appointment email. Anthony was downstairs in the lobby waiting on me to guide me back to his studio, which was relaxing and calming the second I walked in the door. After a quick consultation about what I wanted him to focus on and what I wanted him to avoid, he stepped out of the room and I was under the heated table in seconds. I like a little more pressure everywhere except the back of my neck, and he adjusted his pressure exactly how I wanted it. I had several knots on my shoulders and he worked them out in a way that didn't make the rest of my body tense up. I only booked a 60 minute appointment because that's what he had available, but it went by way too fast. Next time I'll book a 90 minute and will probably continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

The other practitioners have either moved away or gone into other lines of work, and fortunately it looks like Alan will be here for a long time. I wish it was possible for me to see him more often. I spend a lot of time working at a computer both at work and at home. My shoulders, back, and neck muscles get really strained and sore sometimes and I always feel better after one of his sessions. I've tried both the 60 and 90 minute treatments, and prefer the longer ones by far. He has other types of therapy available, as described on his website, but I haven't tried them. Alan is dependable and punctual. He rarely if ever has to re-schedule an appointment due to conflicts. Also important, I never feel rushed because Alan reserves plenty of time for our sessions. There's never a feeling that someone's out in the lobby waiting. His technique is very relaxing and effective - he knows just how much pressure to apply and will adjust his therapy as needed. The office environment is excellent and very quiet most of the time. Alan's personality is pleasant and friendly, and he maintains the highest of professional standards. As noted in a previous report those warm, scented towels at the end of the session are so relaxing. I have referred several friends to Alan and they all thought the experience met or exceeded their expectations.
