Always an amazing experience. Carolyn is like no other. She finds knots I didn't even know existed. It's as if the Lord guides her hands to where I need it the most. I have to start by saying that this was the best massage I have ever received! I have worked in spas for 13 years and have never experienced this type of customized massage before. I am a nail tech so my shoulders are always tight from working 6 days a week. I also play on a co-ed softball team so my quads and calfs really needed loosening. Carolyn knew right where to press and stretched my hips and spine in all the right places. I will definitely be returning...I rebooked for the following week while I was there. The atmosphere allowed me to relax and just let her work. It was a little hard to find because my GPS didn't take me to the right location but I called and spoke to the receptionist and he lead me right there! I absolutely love this place. I've been knowing the owners personally for years & never knew that they did massage therapy. I must say I was truly amazed the 1st time I walked into the spa & it was Carolyn & Michael. She has amazing hands & always gets rid of all my stress while I'm there. Just had a one hour massage there last week and it was amazing. Carolyn is a true professional and made me feel comfortable and sincerely listened to my input and issues with various points on my body. She worked magic for my ongoing sciatica pain and provided some insight to why it may be happening and also even when to expect a flair up :-) I told her about some back pain I've been having for a long time and that my chiropractor didn't have any answers and she called her own chiropractor to discuss what he thought about my problems and got back to me. She just showed that she does genuinely care about her clients and wants to bring comfort and relief to them in any way she can. Her husband Michael is a lovely man and so pleasant to talk to as well. A great team they make and I am happy they moved their business to my neighborhood :-) I will be returning! read more

Carolyn was "by Far" the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I have been to many therapists in my life, thought I had the best.....until I experienced a massage by Carolyn ! Her massage is sooo therapeutic.....I actually feel like "I've been reborn, no soreness, stiffness, etc. She works everything troubling out of my body. I wish I was rich enough to have a massage from her every day......I definitely would if I could. She knows techniques I have never experienced before. She gives you what you need and want ! I've told all my friends about her. I have one friend who is a massage therapist herself. She plans on going to Carolyn soon. Even massage therapists need a great massage from a gifted therapist (like Carolyn). I think going for a massage is the greatest gift / therapy one can do for themselves. I need to begin this review by saying it would have been 5+ stars had I not had issues using a credit and subsequent communication with Carolyn. So, here are the pros: She is an incredible massage therapist. I felt extremely relaxed after leaving and my body felt amazing. Her technique is different from anything I had experienced before in a massage. She always has a hand on you so you know where she is, and she makes sure to ask you if everything she is doing is okay. She could tell where my muscles needed the most work and even when I had injury locations. Super talented in this respect. However, the cons are: To book with Carolyn for your first appointment, you have to email or somehow get ahold of her on the phone. This at times can be frustrating because it is very much back and forth - antiquated system of scheduling that takes some time. Second, it felt a bit awkward when I was leaving, as she was on her phone when I came out of the room and didn't really ask about a follow up visit or anything she noticed during my massage. Third, and sadly the reason I won't visit this business again, is that I had purchased a groupon for this business + 1 additional groupon for a gift. This is where the scheduling via email and unavailability over the phone really became an issue. The Groupon amount cleary stated it never expired with Carolyn, but she continuously emailed that she would not honor the credit with her, even after consulting Groupon about the policy. During this entire time, she would only email (once a day) and wouldn't return phone calls. Overall, if you are looking for a good massage, but less professionalism, go for it. I would not pre-purchase, as you might not see those funds being able to be applied to a service! read more
