He was very mindful of getting in tune with what I needed. There was no need for me to give him instruction after my initial request - he just worked his magic! I scheduled again with Jomar this week. He did not disappoint!! Deep tissue this time was perfect. I was feeling a little under the weather before my appointment, so I called to make sure it was OK if I still came in. I was encouraged to still come in since I wasn't contagious. Best decision! (This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.

We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

I have had a full body massage, a full facial and a back facial completed here. Their website is great for looking up all their services, prices and hours. You must call to schedule an appointment. Once you arrive, you fill out a form about your health and skin. Then wait for your student to come and call your name. Then, the two of you will go over your health screen, allergies and concerns. They take you back to the main room. Massages are done on one side of the hallway, and esthetician services are done on the other. No matter the service you get done, you are taken to a "room" which is just divided by curtains on all sides. Everyone speaks in low volume, as to not disturb the other customers. The student will take you to your "room" and explain what will happen. Then, they leave and give you privacy to undress, as needed for the service. After the service is complete, and you redress, the student walks you back out to the lobby. You are encouraged to give them constructive feedback that will help in their education. If you don't feel comfortable telling them directly, there is a written survey you can fill out. Tips are not required, but if you do want to tip, it must be done in cash directly to the student.

I called to cancel the membership and a lady with an accent the same one who convinced me to sign up in person told me that's not what she told me at all that she said you have to pay 2 billings cycles one for $20 and another for $85 before you can cancel. She laughed at me and said she wasn't even the one that I signed up with... I recognized her accent and voice immediately so not sure why she's telling people the can cancel after the first month of $20 when that's not true.

I called to explain that I was not able to get to the business and the person who answered acknowledged that they also didn't know that there was going to be a parade that day. She suggested that I would be able to park over a mile away and walk to their location! At that point I couldn't even get to where she was suggesting and my appointment time was within 10 minutes. I asked if I could reschedule for later in the day since I would miss my appointment. She said no and that she had called and left me a message the morning of my appointment about the parade. The message was left for me less than 2 hours before my appointment. I asked if I would still have to pay for my appointment since I couldn't get there and asked why nothing was posted on their website when I scheduled about possible access issues. She told me that I should have looked on the city's website to see what the city had going on for that day and that I would have to pay since I didn't give 24 hours notice and again pointed out that she left Me a message the morning of my appointment. I pointed out that her mess wasn't 24 hours before my appointment and I should be able to reschedule. She refuses to reschedule me and charged me for my missed appointment. I have been a loyal customer but I WILL NEVER GO BACK. This is not how I expect to be treated for my loyalty and generosity. Great way to lose business Massageluxe!!
