I will never use their services again or recommend them to anyone. The case dragged on and allegedly was supposed to go to trial. I was also given false information that the at fault party had double the coverage from their policy when in reality they did not. A trial never occurred and they still charged the increased attorneys fees. At the end of my case they changed attorneys on me. I even requested copies of the attorney fee agreements and they ignored me. Can't trust this firm when so much false information is given to you by the lawyers. Unethical. read more

Please do yourself a favor and never call this law firm if you need help. The ramp I was on was hit by an RTD bus in June, and I sustained injuries. Two and a half months later, I'm still getting MRIs and other tests to determine the extent of my injuries. I called these guys; BIG MISTAKE, HUGE!! I just wanted information about fees; they texted me the contract, and that weekend, every time I opened my laptop, what I was watching or reading was interrupted by awful scenes of cars crashing. And this idiot- hi, I'm Kyle Bachus- I skipped it seconds later, again and again. On top of my body injuries, he was inflicting mental injuries every time the crashes occurred. I almost had to go to the hospital because of Kyle Bachus. Two weeks ago, I was leaving the hospital after I had a shoulder MRI done when the lawyer I had spoken with called. I told her what she needed to hear about my computer being hacked by her bosses; she denied the accusations, of course. I told her I didn't want anything to do with them, nothing. Then I hung up. But they haven't stopped; the pictures of the two of them are on my computer. I counted the pictures yesterday: 20 on one page. I already hired an attorney, and they told me they could call on my behalf and ask them to stop. Stay away from this law firm if you don't want your mental health to be compromised. They put me in touch with case managers who were helpful but once it started getting down to legal issues my case was turned over to Justin Mosery, he was so patient, knowledgeable, excellent with communication, and available for questions throughout this process. Received a medical disclosure form for (supposedly) a provider that was left blank as to provider, but which I was asked to sign, and in which the word "representation" Could not even be spelled properly. ALSO, was contacted by Marrick without notice by B&S as to their role in my case. And finally--the attorney assigned to case verified he never even requested or reviewed the traffic camera footage and stated to me he was an "medical" attorney, uninterested and uninformed as the property damage portion of the claim. Spoke with Bachus and Schanker about two accidents 2 days apart, both of which were not my fault.They gladly took in my case and treated me like they would handle everything except property. Understood. 47 days later I have no settlement, no idea where my vehicle is and any time i try to call Chase Allen whos in charge of my case he ignores me. The one time i spoke to him was to tell me he doesn't want to take my case after all Edited to add after response from Bachus. I asked for a mental health referral and physical therapy referral and they got me into physical therapy immediately yet took so long to schedule the telehealth that I had one appointment and had to cancel. I was only able to attend one mental telehealth meeting before getting a call from an unethical and unprofessional attorney who told me they'd no longer be accepting my case. In August of 2022, I was in a horrible accident and was run over by a car. I suffered unimaginable pain both physically and mentally. WARNING... DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM. I would like to share a little bit abt my case with this law firm. First and foremost, I would highly suggest that you NEVER USE THIS LAW FIRM. I wish zero was an option to rate this firm. So, my saga began when I was injured during an accident. I was rear ended while I was stopped in traffic. The crash totaled my car and I was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. The next day, I contacted Bachus and Shanker. They were very responsive and quick to meet me. They took my statement, obtained information I had regarding the police report, photographs and etc. During the next few months, the firm failed to contact me to keep me abreast of what was transpiring with my case. I went several months without any communication with this firm. As I initiated communication, there were numerous times that my case was lost, no one would return my call or emails. I spoke with serval employees who said they were working on my case. However, it seemed that no one was communicating within the firm. Various information was lost, unknown if properly documented, etc. During the course of this case, I learned the employee I was working with no longer was employed by the firm. Several more months transpired and my file was lost, unknown who was working on my case and very poor organizational procedures. I reached out to various employees who claimed they were supervisors... even with this communication nothing changed. As my case began to start the settlement process, I would initial communication, but on a regular basis not receive any response from the various employees. Furthermore, when I did speak with the legal assistant during the settlement phase, she continued the poor communication and would tell me she would get back to me before she left work for the day. She would fail to contact me, then I would initiate communication a few days later. Finally, during the final settlement meeting, they were in a rush to get me to sign the check because they wanted to get paid. That is all fine and part of their business. However, during this meeting, I verified that they had spoken with all of my medical providers. They said they had verified all of my providers. I then received my check from the settlement. After receiving the settlement, they provided me with an internal form requesting feedback. I provided them with a below standard evaluation!!! I made it very well known how displeased I was with how they handled this case. I also suggested that they create a division who would specifically contact clients once a month to obtain updated information and to see how the client was doing. It is unknown if they did this. However, what finally broke the camel's back here is this... Abt one week ago, I received a text message from one of my medical provides. She asked how the case was going. She verified that she had submitted her various medical records etc. Additionally, I located emails in my files indicating that I had provided the firm with this medical provider's information. Speaking with the provider l, she informed me the firm had never contacted her during the settlement, nor had they paid her any money toward my medical bills. Upon contacting the firm to share this information, they had no interest in following up with me. I suggested to the medical provider she contact them directly. At this time, it is unknown if the firm has paid the provider. Based upon my experience with this firm, this last incident shows me that the firm mishandled my information and most likely lost various vital pieces of information. It is my recommendation that no one ever uses this firm!!! Very poor, below standard, money hungry ambulance chaser.... Additionally, if any representative from the firm would wants to respond to this comment, or provide any follow up care, please do so. I am more than happy to share this information. Additionally, if the firm does wish to speak with me, they should speak with every employee who claimed they were a supervisor and indicated they would pass my complaints up the chain of command. read more

Wow! Where do I even begin?! This firm went above and beyond for me. I worked closely with Lauren Epke, everyone needs a Lauren! I was in an auto accident May 2019, I decided to go with Bachus and Shanker. From the first day they made everything a lot easier. They sent a young man down to the Springs where i was staying for the consultation (I was so happy I didn't have to go to them at that moment). Over the course of the year, I had a few moments of "crazy" (can you blame me? I hired this law firm after I got rear ended October 5th, 2012. It is almost October 2014 now, and they just told me that they will be no longer representing me. I have no offer, but $ 11000.00 in medical bills. During those two years, 2 of their attorneys and the legal aid quit. It got to the point where I no longer knew who was representing me. I never received one phone call, but I always got put through to an answering machine. They set up telephone conferences for me to talk to one of their attorneys, but he or she never called me. I was a client on my case for 3 years, they bounced us around from lawyer to lawyer. They finally got us to the right lawyer and she told us to take a deal for $15k, which barely covered the medical bills. They walked out with most of the money. I did more work on my case than they did. I feel like they didn't care about us because we are black, they would have fought for us and assign us the the correct lawyer from the start. We were in an accident with a truck from a billion dollar company and my lawyer just let them say and do what they wanted, without challenging them to prove their point. Our lawyer was scared. I am still injured without any compensation. I should be made whole and I am still broken. They paid a doctor out of my money that I relayed to them it was a scam, the doctor sent all my bills to my insurance but since I was in a car accident he wanted the money from me. I am not sure but it seems like my lawyer was getting paid under the table to mess our account around. I tried to speak with Mr. Schanker but my lawyer would not allow me too.
