Salad and maybe a goat cheese stuffed pepper ( mild not spicy )
TC C.

Great place for a glass of wine and a bite to eat on a Friday night ( or any night I guess ) we live in the neighborhood and have been wanting to try it Service was great , friendly and knowledgeable . The salad was simple but so refreshing, the stuffed peppers great and loved the pasta - my husband and I shared all 3. It is an eclectic menu but we enjoyed the vibe and a place that has created their own little niche We will be back . Great wine selection We got a happy hour selection and it was great

really wanted to like this place, but honestly, it just wasn't good. The service was slow and inattentive -- we waited way too long for everything, and our server barely checked on us. The duck taquitos were bad -- dry, flavorless, and almost cold. The steak came out lukewarm, the potato gratin was dry and tough, and the gnocchi was heavy and mushy. Everything looked fancy, but the taste just didn't match the presentation.Chesse platter was below average. The Cabernet Sauvignon was actually great -- smooth and full-bodied -- but sadly, that was the best part of the night. Beautiful patio, nice atmosphere... but with bad service and disappointing food, I just can't give more than 2 1/2 stars.

I was so excited to try this place! The wine selection wasn't my favorite. We tried the Nebbiolo and the Carricante which tasted really sour. The tapas plate so much lacked flavor. The gnocchi was oily and sparse. The shrimp and grits had an impressive flavor profile but it was too salty so we ordered bread on the side. (There were only three pieces of shrimp by the way). Bread was soft and fresh. Overall the quality of food was inconsistent but I added a star because our server was sweet. The interior was also industrial and romantic. You can tell their was thought into the layout and atmosphere.

We drove around Pasadena on a Thursday night and randomly found ourselves at Bacchus. It's converted from a HIIT studio that I used to go to, high ceilings, plenty of seating, and also has an outdoor patio! The wine selection is broad and inexpensive, the pour is generous. We also learned that they have live music on Friday nights which we would love to check out one of these days.

Korean fried chicken

I've been here a few times. The wine selection is small but has good options in every section. The food is delicious. The service is hit or miss, they are always friendly but don't come by often.

I was looking for a spot to celebrate on my birthday week. I am a fan of the speakeasy in Pasadena…read moreas well & this spot is known for this vibe. There is the school house parking lot in the back that is $1 for the first hour or you can park on the street. Once I arrived the host was outside a venue which looks like a store. Once my party arrived they allowed us to walk down a hallway. We entered an elevator which opened to a dark hallway. The hallway was aesthetic with a knight standing in the corner. A wooden door opens & inside is the wine cellar. You're walked to your table. I ordered the Mozart charcuterie board & a cab sav red wine to share. The ambiance is nice & pleasing. It can become a bit loud when more people arrive. There is a self playing piano as well. The server was kind & open to our questions concerning wine selections. Since it was my birthday I was served icecream, crème brûlée, & dessert wine. Our bill was placed in a smut book lol. Overall an aesthetic spot for a date , birthday, or girls night.

Absolutely horrendous customer service…read more Once we finished eating, we waited over 40 minutes for someone to even walk by our table so we could order dessert and get our check. I have no idea what happened to our server, but we were completely forgotten about. On top of that, the food took an extremely long time to come out, and when it finally arrived, it was very bland and underwhelming. The table next to us had ordered a brand-new charcuterie board and waited so long just to order their wine that they eventually left the restaurant without even touching the charcuterie board. Overall, both the food and the service were extremely disappointing. Waiting that long just to get someone's attention, receive our food, and eventually pay the bill is unacceptable. Definitely not an experience we'll be repeating.

Ugh! I was so excited about this place. Someone left a review 7 days ago saying the "service is…read moreslow here and you really have to fight to get their attention." Unfortunately, this is pretty spot on. It took a while for anyone to even acknowledge us or say hi, and it got to the point where I was just dying for some water. I almost wanted to ask the people next to us if I could have some of theirs. I noticed everyone around us was having the same experience, though, which was nice because it meant it wasn't personal. By the time we were done with our appetizers, I had my fiancé have his card out and ready to hand over. I didn't even care to see the bill because I didn't have an extra hour to spare. I want to give this place another shot but we'll see. (If so, I'll be sure to update my review based on the food.) But for now, I'd say only come here if you have 3 hours of your day to kill. You'll feel stuck here. 3 stars because it was a cute spot and our two starter dishes were actually pretty good.

Very doable as a place to meet up with friends for a conversational brunch, or needed an unforgettable luncheon when your plans for steamed hams and aurora borealis at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, completely localized in your kitchen, is out of the question. But really, it's the cheese variety as the reason for me awarding this spot 5-stars. You can ask, yes, ask to try out before you buy. You don't have to be stuck with buyer's remorse. Try that cheese, all the different varieties that you can point at with your lovely gel nails: soft cheese, aged cheese, bleu cheese - the unique, the nutty, the funky, the kind that you want paired with that juicy fragrant bottle of Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru Les Amoureses.
