There were enough white peach left: crunchy & sweet albeit medium in size, the remaining apricots not yet fully ripen, black berries tasted sour, not many cherries left but we already had our fill on the other farm, sunflowrr plants were $2/stalk. These people are scam. They have blocked the areas which has ripped full fruit. They allow you to collect the bad quality and unripe and they charge entry fee five dollars per ahead which they say that it's redeemable but for for what the fruits are bad quality don't waste your money and time. read more

I like their reservation method - the whole process was very modern. Their website allows you to make a time-entry based reservation the night before. This gave me peace knowing that I will still have fruits to pick/won't get stopped at the entrance even if I sleep in on the u-pick days. It also lets me know they actively maintain their site, which I really do appreciate. They really got all the stuff/process together. Very well organized. You can add the QR code to digital wallet for easy access. The entrance fee serves as a coupon for the fruits. The staffs were also very helpful. They gave us tips on what to look for when picking white peaches (it was our first time u picking the peaches), and they recommended that we try out the fruit while we were there too. We stumbled upon this place cause the other place we were originally headed to was closed! They are reservation only - but we literally made one right as we were parked in the lot and it was fine. For reference, we came in early June also. The prices are a little higher than other places ($4.50 for cherries and peaches, $7.50 for blackberries). The peaches were mostly insect bitten which was slightly disappointing but the few we were able to pick were delicious. The blackberries were the best I've ever had! Everyone working there was very friendly - I think I would come back for blackberry picking for sure. read more

This is one of my favorite Cherry U pick farms in Brentwood. I always got good & tasty fruits from here. Fruits: For Memorial Day weekend, the white peaches, cherries, pluots, apricots, and blackberries are all available and ready for picking. The farmer said the Apricot & Peach hybrid fruit trees will be ready in another week or two. White peaches, blackberries, pluots are all good here. Notes: The trees here are shorter which are easier for fruit-picking, especially for kids or for shorter person like myself. You don't need a ladder or special cherry picking tools to reach out for fruits. There are different size of boxes ($15 for blackberry Costco size box) I got a $30 box which is filled with 5 white peaches, 6 pluots, 16 apricots, lots of cherries, and some blackberries on top. It's definitely a good value IMO. Reservation: You will need to make a reservation in order to get in. You can only book after 8 pm the day before your chosen date. Reservation is always sold out when it opens at 8 pm, but if you try to book after 10 pm or 11 pm, you might be able to get the tickets. The ticket Is $5 per person and can be redeemed for fruits. Pro: They get good variety here. So you don't have to go to different farms. The staffs all wore masks and the entrance line is pretty organized. There is also a washing sink area with soup & water and porta-potty in case you need it. Con: Cherry trees selection is kinda small and cherries are not quite deep red yet. If your cherries are your target fruit, I will suggest other cherry farms instead. Parking: I will suggest come before 10 am if you can, it's less hot and easier for traffic & parking. This place has their Covid-19 act down and allows only a certain amount of people at a time, which we liked. Not crowded at all. Apricots and cherries were available for U Pick when we went on Saturday, 5/15. The cherries were not fully ripe yet, but Jenbert and Jenbert Jr don't mind firmer cherries. It is on the pricier side, but part of what you are paying for is a less crowded place to enjoy your U Pick experience. read more

The coupon system they have seems like a downright scam. You can't see what's there or how good it is before you buy an entry ticket. They list that they have availability of specific fruits, but if you get there and the fruit you want is barely available, barely reachable by the kids, or tastless, you have no choice but to pick whatever amount of low-quality junk they have left to fulfill the ticket quota you have paid for in advance. We are never going back again! I would much rather go to a farm where my money rewards good produce than a farm that uses a ticket system to ensure even their bad leftovers are picked out at a profit (their prices are higher than the neighboring orchards and the coral cherries were smaller). read more

good experiences in the past, but yesterday was very very disappointed, we bought 30+lbs Loquat last year to shared with families & friends, plan to do the same this year, we visited the farm 1 week ahead & was told shop will not selling loquat until Saturday 5/15 @ 9 am. Sat 5/15 we arrived @ 8:38am only 2 cars at the lot, shop was not open yet but the lady was there and we were shocked by what we heard, they opened yesterday for self picked loquat so most of the ripe one were all gone, they also didn't have pre-picked loquat for sale because they don't know when the pickers will come to pick for them. we disappointed not only because "no loquat ", but was more of the business didn't care to honor what they told to their customers. read more

There are many places to choose from but we decided on Bacchini's because of the different available fruits to pick. Parking is limited so be patient and expect a wait of 30mins at least when busy; the turnover of people leaving is fairly fast. Before you can roam freely on the grounds you have to sign a waiver form. After that, you grab a bucket and box and pick as much as you'd like. The first initially rows of cherry were already picked clean, but staff are on hand to let you know which rows/area still have plenty of fruit available. And they direct you to the fruits you're looking for. The grounds isn't too big, but offered a variety of different fruits. We had cherry, blackberries, peaches, a few apricot and plum. Fruit will vary between weeks and year. It was just over 100F when we went, so make sure to stay hydrated and bring hat/umbrella for shade. Not sure if it's permitted but I saw some families bring a blanket/picnic and chilled out under some of the fruitless trees. Staff didn't seem to mind. They take cash, debit and credit. read more

We come here every year for cherry picking with my kids, staring when they were two years old. My kids now complain when they eat store bought cherries because they're "not as sweet as the farm ones" The trees are all pretty low to the ground which allows for easy picking for little ones. I love that they have a variety of fruits to pick and we make a full day out of it by going to a nearby park afterwards to play and eat lunch! read more

I had a fun experience picking white nectarines, white peaches, apricots, and blackberries. Parking was easy and there is no entrance fee. Each group needs to sign in before being allowed to enter. However, I felt the prices were a bit high. It came out to about a dollar per peach! They provide you with a bucket for heavier fruits and a card board box for the blackberries. There is also a berry stick that helps with reaching hidden berries and thorns. There are also ladders available for the hard to reach fruit trees. They take credit cards, which is nice. I was also given a free reusable bag to carry the peaches and heavier fruits. Be prepared to be in the sun and bring a hat! Try to avoid the rows of fruit closest to the entrance as these have already been scouted by previous visitors. There are some portable restrooms available inside and outside. For the lazy ones, they have pre-picked fruits that they also sell, including honey and walnuts. read more

It's summer and that means it's BERRY SEASON! Specifically cherries, which is the favorite fruit of my family. Came here the wknd of June 2nd to try and score some hand-picked goodies for some family and friends. FRUIT - Cherries: Slight bummer because they were already out of cherries by the time we came. I think this year's rain affected the cherries, because they ran out super quick! - White peaches: very sweet! You gotta look for the firm ones, because that's when they're perfectly ripe. However this year's wasn't very big. PRICE - $2.50/lb, which is a bit expensive but you're pretty much paying for the experience. PARKING Although it's free, it's kind of a mad house to squeeze in. Just be aware when it's the weekend and you may need to wait in a line for a bit. CUSTOMER SERVICE Ah, this is where the dark cloud appeared during this sunny day. You should never insult customers _anywhere_. I came with a large group of family and friends, and we had about 4 buckets between us. However, a male staff member very rudely approached us and claimed that we "already ate 15 lbs of fruit and we should start moving to the front of the orchard to pay because this is not an all-you-can-eat buffet." WHOA THERE BUDDY, you need to calm down. I understand the orchard is a business and you need to make a profit. But you can clearly see we had buckets of fruit ready to be purchased. Why hassle us then? CONCLUSION I'd try to come back earlier in the season to catch cherries. But I will probably go to another orchard that is more friendly! read more

There were many different types of fruits during our visit (5/25/2020): cherries (super sweet!), apricots, pluots, olallieberries, white peaches, and loquats. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there were clean hand washing stations and portas. I am especially impressed by them for having reservation system during COVID-19, and limiting the amount of visitors. It was a very stress-free process, smooth check in / checkouts with no waits, not too crowded, and people can safely practice social distancing. Just recently went cherry picking and filled up a box to what we thought was going to be 32lbs. The staff had given us a box telling us it was going to hold 32lbs. I went home to find out the box they gave us only weighed out to 14-15 lbs. It would've been fine if we jus paid for the 16lbs, but we paid an extra 20$(including $10 reservation fee) for another 16lbs that we didn't get. We stay about an hour away and it's jus so unfortunate to come home and have a short amount. I'm hoping for a refund for the amount we didn't get. Please help and acknowledge my request. We were out there for cherry picking. But this place turned out to be a blessing for us. They had pluots, nectarines, peaches, apricots, cherries and black berries. The pluots, peaches and black berries were really sweet. They told us that they had already picked the apricots and it will be hard to find the good ones. Cherries were sweet too , but they had a very limited availability that day. It was fun to walk around, finding the trees was also easy. They had set up sign boards and there were always someone around if you have any questions. They accept credit card and apple pay. They are careful with the packing and the will provide boxes even if you don't pick bulk quantity. I would love to come back to this place next season. Recommend this place! read more

Just picked this morning. DEFINITELY come early! We drove up around 10 am and there was already a line to get into the parking lot. Pro-tip for blackberries: a lot of people walk by and glance at the outer part of the plants and poo poo them for not being ripe. To find ripe ones, you have to take time to bend down and look UP into the vines and you'll see a ton of super big and ripe ones hanging out underneath leaves! Gingerly use the leaves to pull aside the vines and get the good ones inside. We saw multiple people walk by the blackberry areas and complain about non-ripeness, but then marvel at how many we had. You just have to be patient and look carefully! We got lots of really sweet blackberries, and some sweet crunchy white peaches. All the workers we interacted with were super nice, friendly, and helpful. read more

Have to say I didn't realize Brentwood was sooooo far out. :-) Despite this, I was surprised to see the amount of people out with their family/friends. Seems like a similar crowd to pumpkin picking. Bacchini's has their act together. People are greeting you as you sign waivers (don't want you to get injured climbing trees?). Boxes and buckets are available for you pick fruit. No entry free, and eat all the fruit you want while you are there (not sure if this is officially advertised, but everyone was doing it :P). UPDATE: We came back the next week and found some really great fruit. It's expensive but it tastes amazing. The lessen here was don't come after 10am or else be prepared to sit in traffic and fight people for fruit. We came here today and this was such a massive waste of time. Unfortunately this review isn't really for this orchard but the massive mess surrounding it. First, it took 30 Minutes just to get to the orchard from less than a mile away. There was absolutely no parking and on top of that, the people who came on this particular day were the worst group of people I could have ever asked for. First, we get out of the car to a guy who was yelling at an Indian guy for being too close to his car. He started yelling at him that he should kick his ass and he proceeded to tell a whole lot of offensive garbage at him as loud as he could. He said some nonsense like- I am reporting you to the department of homeland security and I know about what your people did on 9/11. It was very strange, but it was more strange considering that the guy did nothing wrong and was also Indian. On top of that, the guy yelling at him was Asian. Not that the race of these people really matters in any sense but I couldn't understand why this guy was being so offensive out loud when that had nothing to do with anything. On top of this amazing experience, when we got to the farm, they were closed and all picked out. This place would be fine during the early morning when everyone is sleeping, avoid at all costs in the afternoon! If they gave away free stuff I wouldn't come back! What a waste of a day to walk away with nothing. read more

This is my Spring/Summer MUST do! Seems as soon as they open the U-Pick farm, a new crop is ready each weekend - awesome. I go especially for the blackberries and cherries (sour and Rainier), but there is no beating their peaches either! I just wish they grew freestone - makes pies SO much easier. I've been taking my uncle (in his 70's) for the past two years and he just loves it. Once, Tino was there and they sparked some short conversation. My uncle confessed that he probably had eaten more than he bought, to which Tino replied "that's ok, we've got that covered" - my uncle was made an immediate fan! Much love for a small family project like this. But watch out! You could get trampled by little Asian peoples and their kids EVERYWHERE! Hahaha read more

We visited Bacchini's on May 16, 2020. The tickets cost $12.20 and $10 was applied to our purchase. We picked blackberries, apricots, cherries and pluots. The apricots and pluots are not sweet. The cherries are not as good as those from Maggiore. The worst is pre-picked loquats which we purchased at its store. The loquats were sold in a 4 pounds container at $8 per pound for $32. The loquats are tasteless. It is a waste of money to buy their loquats. Bacchini's Fruit Tree charges higher price and offer worse fruits comparing with the ranches nearby. read more

This is such an amazing farm to go to. It has different kinds of fruits ex. White peaches, blackberry, cherries, apricot etc. Fruits are fresh and sweet. Their customer service is very very good. I lost my ID and some cash in the farm, and a very kind customer found it and gave it to the front desk (thanks A LOT). Came here at around 10AM on a Sunday, and came out with a pound of blackberries! After picking cherries at Nunn's, I wanted to go home with other fruit as well. I really liked how Bacchini's listed what fruit they had available for the day on their website, and we called to make sure that there were enough blackberries left for us. I found it a lot of fun to pick the blackberries as it was slightly a challenge to get the best ones (dark, big, plump) - they were usually on the bottom hidden with leaves. One pound was $5. One word of advice - maybe bring gloves because the thorns on the vines were sharp! I didn't find that parking was difficult, but I can imagine the lot getting full around noon. Bacchini's accepts credit card and cash, which is a major plus. I believe that plums and pluots and the bigger fruit will be ready to pick next weekend, so make sure to come early to get the best pick! read more

It was mid May and was so excited for some cherries. I called before and asked for hours and if they were available but they didn't have any cherries!! So sad. I did pick apricots, peaches and pluots which were good. Make sure to call ahead and ask and go end of April and beginning of May. It gets busy with traffic around 9-930. We got here early (10amish) which is a really great time because the place isn't crowded, lots of room to park and the weather is still really cool (nice for the kids). There are a lot of fruits to pick from but we mainly came here for cherries. The cherry trees were not as high as other places which made it easy for us to pick and no need for ladders. I felt this place was a lot more organized than the other places because the trees were a good distance from each other, the grass was trimmed and it was very clean (even the potty area). read more

Why do people do it to themselves? The traffic is terrible because none of these places has sufficient infrastructure (parking) which blocks the roads everywhere here. It takes forever to get anywhere. And after you arrive quite often everything is already picked. read more

Love this place!! Even better that we came at 9:15am on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend since it was pretty jammed right after we arrived. As we left at 10:45, there was crazy traffic coming from Livermore to Brentwood. Arrive early to beat the crowds and heat! I was pretty sad that the blackberries weren't ripe enough (in my opinion) even though the website said they were ready for picking. :( We passed those by this time.....my poor pie plate will be empty for now. Excellent trees for picking cherries, though. Nice and low for kids to help out. I don't really see going anywhere else again, unless it's mid-day and the crowds are too much. I was looking for a one stop shop for white peaches and nectarines, plums, apricots, loquats, pluots, etc...and they had it all here! They even had a little bit of cherries and blackberries. the staff was excellent and plentiful. we arrived around 930a, and the porta-pottier were clean, they had a sink w soap! Very nice...good timing, not over-crowded yet. We got to sample a few fruits, and brought home white peaches (nectarines not quite ripe yet bummer), apricots, red plums. Only thing i wish was that fruit was more ripe...The kids, the hubby, and i were grubbing in the car before we could leave cuz it was juicy and yummy. Unfortunately, second week of June is already too late for cherry picking so my family and I settled with humongous blackberries, as well as plums. Lemme tell you though, the blackberries stole the show cause they were incredibly sweet. I was picking and eating at the same time, so by the end of that picking I was already full. Haha! Be careful picking those blackberries though because those frikken thorns hurt! I would've liked it better if there were more rows of blackberries (there were only 2), so we really had to peek into the vines to get the berries. In the end, we ended up with about $38 worth of blackberries, a pretty good tan, lost some calories from sweating, and a 6-second walk to the parking lot. Hahah. It was a good experience. read more
