Dr. Brown did my second surgery back in late August (although it seems like yesterday). He was very good at telling me exactly what was happening. He kept me in the loop and explained everything in simple terms. He answered any questions my Mom and I had. After my surgery was done, he went out and talked to my Mom and explained what happened. He also didn't seem to mind me talking about my cats. When I went in for my post-op appointment a week later, he asked me about them. I also feel like Dr. Brown's thorough and cares about me. I think he felt bad for me when I told him how 2 of my cats kind of acted like punks after my surgery. One of them knocked my glasses case off of my nightstand the night of my surgery. When I bent over to pick them up the next morning, I had pain bending over. One of my other cats jumped on me when I was in bed and stepped on one of my incisions. I plan on seeing Dr. Brown for my yearly exams from now on. I went in yesterday for another post-op exam. He asked me about my cats again. I was a little emotional talking about one of them, Mac, who got really sick last year and passed away. He treated me with dignity, respect, kindness and like a human. I feel lucky.

It was the closest urgent care to our hotel with available appointments so I booked the appointment last night. Got in this morning and it was smooth sailing from finished to end. Receptionist was very helpful, professional and friendly. Got him in immediately, saw Nurse Mary. Nurse Mary took his vitals and asked basic questions. The PA came in right after, checked out his ear and prescribed antibiotics. We didn't need to check out as his medication was sent electronically to the pharmacy. The quality of care is top notch for an urgent care, probably the best urgent care I've ever been to. They are organized, helpful and professional. I highly recommend them. K&A took four chest x-rays of our family member while he was in a nursing home. The x-rays…read moreoccurred between Sept 2016 and Oct 2017. Later in Feb 2018, Crouse Hospital took a chest x-ray which revealed both old (healed) and more recent rib fractures. K&A did not report any fractures in the four x-rays it took. We had a physician look at the actual images; he saw obvious rib fractures. We notified K&A in writing about our findings. Ken Andrews (K&A President) and Obie Burger (Director of Operator) replied by email that they would have radiologists re-examine the x-rays and get back to us. After we initially notified K&A of the situation on March 8, 2018, it has not informed us whether the re-examination was actually done and what the results were. We are posting this review out of serious concern that other patients may have unknowingly been subjected to the same failure to report abnormalities shown on x-rays. We are willing to share more details with any individuals or nursing facilities that believe they may been or can be affected by the same or similar circumstances. I came prepared with my paperwork early, only to be told that I had an invoice from 7 years ago in 2016 for $168 that I had to pay upfront or they would refuse me. I could not recall the invoice and it was the first time it was brought to my attention as they had not mentioned before I arrived in person. The office were given multiple opportunities to bring it to my attention and I would have had the opportunity to address it then. I explained I did not have the funds to pay for an invoice that I could not recall ever receiving back in 2016 let alone not knowing who my insurance co. was back then. I don't recall receiving an invoice from Women's Wellness in 2016 and I am very organized and conscinetious when handling invoices. The registration clerk rudely asked me how would they know if they could trust I would pay my invoice for today's services. I explained and trying to assure them my invoice today 12/16/2025 would be handled because I have medicaid they flat out refused to keep the appointment and I did not receive my exam. Instead of thinking of the care of the patient, the money somehow reconciled from seven years ago, that I don't agree to being valid at this time, was put as the priority over my care. I will never return to this office because of the inhumane treatment I received. Try to understand I walked out of the door not to be rude but because it took a great amount of energy to make it to the office and you never know what is going on with somebody so put some kindness in your practice.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Lee to anyone! He was completely unprepared for every one of my appointments and obviously didn't look at my patient chart prior to the appointments. He is argumentative, does not provide results in a timely manner, and for that matter has yet to provide me with the latest results of numerous tests and procedures that were done months ago! It is unacceptable for me as a patient to have to guide the entire appointment and waste most of our precious little time reviewing information a professional would already know and be prepared for. The upper endoscopy and colonoscopy he performed were immensely stressful for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which was no one at the hospital was informed by Dr. Lee that I required general anesthesia. I nearly cancelled both procedures minutes before I was to be wheeled into the procedure room because every single medical professional that checked in with me told me I was going to receive conscious sedation, including the anesthesiologist minutes before the procedures. This was totally unacceptable! Forget trying to change your health care to a different provider at this practice. I was willing to at least try a different provider and was told by staff there would be no problem with this. Only to find out the practice refused to let me see a different doctor, stating the other doctor had "nothing additional to add". Which is a joke; I didn't even have the test results that I had waited months for, nor a care plan for my ongoing symptoms. HOW CAN THERE BE NOTHING TO ADD? Tabitha Dona, the office manager, never once spoke to me, yet the office staff informed me that she said "the decision stands". This is completely unacceptable and reflects not only a very poor health provider but also an extremely poor office practice!!!! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere, anywhere else!!
