I took my wife to the ER here for having excruciating pain. We waited a long time to get her vitals…read morechecked and another long wait in a walkway to have blood drawn and a cursory exam. Then, back out to the large waiting room with about 30 others. When she complained of a return of the pain, I told the desk personnel who said "everyone here is in pain." No one else showed ANY signs of being in pain, though. Hours later, she finally got a CT scan with a hernia diagnosis. Finally, she got a room, examined, and left alone for too long. We finally left anyway. A few days later, the pain returned and we made the awful mistake of coming back here. The blood work and CT scan were repeated during this 16+ hour's ordeal, which resulted in only a surgical referral a week away. The only reason I would come back here is to just die.

Do not trust Doctor Sun or NP Xu (they call her Trine). Dr. Sun will NOT follow through with the treatment you discuss with him. You will come up with a plan. Then find out at the last minute that everything you discussed is not happening. His staff doesn't know why, apparently Dr. Sun doesn't properly update your chart. If they follow up with the Doctor you will either not hear back, be told they couldn't reach him, or just be told "Dr. Sun decided this is what's best right now" without further explanation. You will be lied to and told the doctor is on vacation and assigned to another provider when he is done with you. If you ask to reschedule for when he comes back from the so-called vacation, they will refuse on the basis of "it's what Dr. Sun thinks is best". Then after your experience with that other provider proves to be truly awful and you request another appointment with Dr. Sun, his staff will be confused because he's not on vacation, he's actually in the office. Nobody takes accountability for the lying and dishonesty. Nurse Practitioner Xu (who they call Trine) is the absolutely worst. She was the other provider I was pawned off on. This appointment was supposed to be about following up on incredibly concerning test results. Trine had no idea about any of it or any of the extra testing that needed to be done, because again Dr. Sun NEVER put any of it in the chart. I had to insistently demand she order this incredibly important test. Trine doesn't know what FMLA is, doesn't know how stomach digestion works, and her answers to my other concerns were incredibly concerning in that she just doesn't know anything about gastroenterology. So you give yourself 24 hours to chill out and compose yourself and send in a respectfully worded complaint about how this all went. There is no discussion. No follow up. No customer service. They just reply back to you that they will no longer be seeing you as a patient. Is this even ethical? It doesn't feel like it. Read more reviews about these people. I am not alone.

When I later inquired about obtaining a second opinion, I was told that their practice "does not do second opinions." I was then informed that I was no longer considered their patient because I had seen another GI doctor. They also immediately revoked my portal access, which cut off my ability to view my own records. I find this troubling, as other physicians I work with encourage second opinions, viewing them as beneficial for the patient's care and peace of mind. This experience has raised concerns for me about whether the practice is prioritizing patient well-being.

I am told by the people who make the appointments that they don't have her schedule and they don't know when it will open. Two weeks ago, I was told to call in the middle of April because that is when her August schedule will open up. I called and was told that her schedule was not there so I call next week. I did that today and I was told it opened last Friday and it was full for August already. I could not make an appointment because they (office staff) do not know when her schedule will open again. Basically, I am told they can't help me. It is very frustrating as a patient to do everything right and be told , So sorry the schedule is full. So how and when do you call to make an appointment? I would NOT recommend Dr. Lee to anyone! He was completely unprepared for every one of my…read moreappointments and obviously didn't look at my patient chart prior to the appointments. He is argumentative, does not provide results in a timely manner, and for that matter has yet to provide me with the latest results of numerous tests and procedures that were done months ago! It is unacceptable for me as a patient to have to guide the entire appointment and waste most of our precious little time reviewing information a professional would already know and be prepared for. The upper endoscopy and colonoscopy he performed were immensely stressful for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which was NO ONE at the hospital was informed by Dr. Lee that I required general anesthesia. I nearly cancelled both procedures minutes before I was to be wheeled into the procedure room because every single medical professional that checked in with me told me I was going to receive conscious sedation, including the anesthesiologist minutes before the procedures. This was totally unacceptable! There have been numerous other adverse issues I've had with Dr. Lee. Save yourself time and misery. Do NOT trust your health to Dr. Lee. Go somewhere, anywhere else!!

In the medical field things need to be done a certain way(and I get that), what I don't understand is how they tell you to put something somewhere (so I did exactly as told) and its still wrong (probably because I did it, and not someone else). I've been working here for 2 months and have been told 3 times I didn't know how to do my job, and that the only reason I am employed here is because they needed a body(very degrading). I was provided with 3 days of front desk training and 4 days of patient nurse training, before being hurled into job duties by myself. I guess because they are unable to provide proper training, I'm incapable of doing my job. I am a skilled CMA( with certification to prove it) and treated like an absolute joke at work, it frustrating, humiliating and stressful. I have worked at other facilities and have never felt like this. it is a great place to go if you need medical attention, but a really difficult place to work. I loved my job when I started, but now unfortunately, I'm looking for something else.
