I interacted with the office manager to get her feedback and she herself was unprofessional and dismissive. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and adds unnecessary stress to patients already trying to get care.

She wouldn't fill her prescription that Mom needs for her metabolism. She told my mom that she wasn't "billing a phone call," my mom made one time to get test results. She is a sad excuse for a doctor. When everything comes down to money, this doctor does not live by the Hippocratic oath. She does more harm than good.

This doctor had access to Mychart when she did this and it would have been very easy for her to find out I was already enduring colon procedures with an Upstate surgeon in the same group. When I called her and her staff on it they dismissed me as a patient, that means is I can no longer see any doctor at the Nappi Wellness center. Beware of this doctor. She is an "internist" who could not even tell I had internal abscesses clinging to my colon. This doctor also attempted to get me to rub aspercreme all over my body after I told her I was highly allergic to aspirin. Do yourself a favor and don't get mixed up with this thing that calls herself a doctor.

I am from the state of Delaware , and finally on Nov 26th 2019 I went to upstate hosp emergency room . They checked me out and paired me with Dr Ahmed . I waited until 12/13/2019 , by the time I got there infection was really effecting my day to day situation, hard to sleep flem everyday all day especially while sleeping. Dr Ahmed refused to give me any medication instead referred me to a dermatologist for a skin cancer case i had in 2002 ? very odd, and it takes almost a year to get in with a dermatologist . She rescheduled for 12/27/2019 again no meds , she don't listen to patients at all, her schedule is more important than patients health. Moreover she was rude, she said your late so I have no time. you are supposed to show up 15 ,minutes early. I was over a half hour early , her staff didn't open suite I door until 8:00 am . for an 8 AM appointment. I am desperately sick , this was getting really serious, 6 weeks with an infection and a bad cough not normal. She's mad i am late except I'm not late, she has some student shadowing her. He looked at me at end of appointment in shock. I'm complaining six weeks I'm having trouble breathing , high fever comes and goes, cough bad, i threw my back out coughing so hard, and sneezing a lot from head sinus infection. Get this she again put me in for a knee X-RAY. you cannot make this stuff up.I go home to die apparently . she reschedules me for 6 weeks later . quack quack quack. She is new and new doctors try to do anything for insurance, but this was pure bad medical practice. I go to Emergency room again 1/2/2020 I'm beyond sick I barely got there. I've got bad pneumonia, three viruses , a high fever , and sinus infection. They give me meds after I recount this horror story . Its not over. They say you need a followup with dr Ahmed in 2-3 days max. I call leave message, get message to call them I call , on hold 15 minutes "person you need not here." We do this phone tag for 10 days (they lived to the hospital when i lodged a complaint requesting a new doctor. They say you have to go to her, this is very unusual. So I call and tell them , they say we won't see you because you said we are bad . These people work for the hospital. I have no doctor and no follow up done. AVOID this DOCTOR fluke. I've never had any problems with Upstate Hosp. Actually nothing but good with them and my kids.

I was upset when I realized this. Dr. Federico stated he didn't know why she put me on it because my thyroid was just a bit off. It is now better via changing my diet. I haven't had any issues with him. He doesn't pressure you to take an rx. I don't want to find myself on six rxs, so he honors that. The staff in the office are great too. I usually don't have to wait long once I'm there. The only issue is they don't have enough staff to answer the phones, so you won't likely get a person on the phone. You have to leave a message. I'm assuming because their costs are lower they can't afford to have the additional reception staff to handle the phones. I just go in person and make my next appointment while I'm there. I'm not a sickly person who has to run to the doctor often, so Compassionate Care works good for me. Having Saturday hours is a major plus. I will continue to keep going.

During a consultation he refuted that he ever referred me to another physician to receive medical marijuana for treatment. He more than once said he would never do/ done that. I told him I was not lying, that he did. I have paperwork stating that he referred me to said physician. Additionally Dr. Berg asked me why I was there to be seen when there is nothing he can do for my IBS. He himself scheduled me for a two year check up and I received a written reminder via the mail to schedule. He then continued to tell me he does not have the expertise to treat me. That I have IBS but do not have a GI issue. Something else must be wrong and to seek a primary care physician. He also told me I was at fault for my condition for deciding to not take an injectable steroid that had many negative side effects. I deemed on my own accord this was not beneficial to my health since it's my body. Then after asking Dr. Berg to assist with my ADA workplace accommodation he become very agitated and aggressive. Asserting he would not ever do that. He does not have the staff to complete it. He would never help me in that regard. I then stated to him his practice had assisted with my FMLA for the same specified illness IBS. He attempted to deflect and said he would not ever do that. At this point I decided to leave the appointment. I apologized for wasting his time and his clear frustration. I have never been spoken to or treated in such a manner by any health professional. I came there simply for help and was treated with no empathy or kindness. Dr. Berg is unfit to practice with this type of patient report. I thank the office for previous help over the years with c-diff, IBS, and Crohns. The previous doctors who are now retired were of a different ilk. They practiced respect and humanism. I hope Dr. Berg receives some help and will work on himself. I hope other patients don't experience his lack of humanism. I hope he can practice some self reflection and take time to work on his mental health.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Lee to anyone! He was completely unprepared for every one of my appointments and obviously didn't look at my patient chart prior to the appointments. He is argumentative, does not provide results in a timely manner, and for that matter has yet to provide me with the latest results of numerous tests and procedures that were done months ago! It is unacceptable for me as a patient to have to guide the entire appointment and waste most of our precious little time reviewing information a professional would already know and be prepared for. The upper endoscopy and colonoscopy he performed were immensely stressful for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which was no one at the hospital was informed by Dr. Lee that I required general anesthesia. I nearly cancelled both procedures minutes before I was to be wheeled into the procedure room because every single medical professional that checked in with me told me I was going to receive conscious sedation, including the anesthesiologist minutes before the procedures. This was totally unacceptable! Forget trying to change your health care to a different provider at this practice. I was willing to at least try a different provider and was told by staff there would be no problem with this. Only to find out the practice refused to let me see a different doctor, stating the other doctor had "nothing additional to add". Which is a joke; I didn't even have the test results that I had waited months for, nor a care plan for my ongoing symptoms. HOW CAN THERE BE NOTHING TO ADD? Tabitha Dona, the office manager, never once spoke to me, yet the office staff informed me that she said "the decision stands". This is completely unacceptable and reflects not only a very poor health provider but also an extremely poor office practice!!!! Do yourself a favor, go somewhere, anywhere else!!
