If they don't want to do a basic facial why have it on the "menu?" First into a chemical peel which wasn't the solve for existing pimples. Then into a diamond glow facial. Then proceeded to wash my face and do a mask that took 20 mins. I asked for extractions (which are typical) - she left the three zits on my face and bypassed by chin altogether until I asked again. Never walked out of a facial smelling bad and with a face full of zits. It was $130 to have my face washed and a mask.

I visited Contour Collection this week for an Aquagold Facial. The Aquagold Fine Touch is a micro-infusion facial device that uses twenty microneedles made of 24-karat gold to deliver a blend of skin-hero ingredients for the face. Katie Averson NP-C, Clinical Director & Co-Founder of Contour Collection used a blend of neurotoxin, hyaluronic acid, & pure, injectable-grade Vitamin C in my Aquagold Facial. The Aquagold Facial is prime pampering to get before any big event - in this case (for myself), New Year's Eve. The Aquagold facial diminishes fine lines & wrinkles, smooths crow's feet, refines pores, corrects pigmentation, acne scarring, dryness, tone, texture, boosts hydration and luminosity for a glow that lasts up to 4 weeks. Katie began my treatment by applying a topical numbing to my face which was left to rest for 15 minutes. The topical numbing was to keep me comfortable during the facial. After 15 minutes, Katie removed the remaining topical and got my Aquagold facial underway. Katie took the Aquagold device and applied it to my skin in a gentle stamping motion. There was no steamer, the mask felt like a simple paper mask, and the rubber gloves made the service feel more medical than relaxing. What disappointed me most was what was missing: no neck or chest massage, no hand or arm massage, and overall very little of the relaxing "spa" experience you usually expect during a facial.  The esthetician herself was kind and professional; please note that she did great. My issue is more with the overall service and value from the spa. But honestly, the experience felt very basic for the cost.
