The past time they mentioned points being transferable between stores like adult retail shop uptown cheapskate. They don't tell you that you have to put that money on a gift card for it to be utilized at another store. They just let you show up to that other store and figure it out with their management, Then feigns ignorance and responsibility, wasting time, money and effort. This most recent time the disrespect was appalling. I showed up with four bins worth of items and offered to leave my bins, but the employee insisted that wasn't necessary. Had I known I would've received my items back in trash bags like discarded trash I would've insisted on leaving my bins. I brought my items in Clean conditions, neatly folded piles, in new clean bins, organized and disinfected. My items were retuned in bagged piles of mess. I called to speak with the manager bc I felt the level of care was lacking towards my items, the employee showed minimal expression which I can live with she can act like she has no empathy, I'm a grown man I don't need to be smiled at thats fine. Where I draw the line is treating my stuff like trash when it isn't yours yet and it didn't need to go that way. I could have left my bins, they didn't need to trash bag it out, they could have treated my items with more care and they could have been more empathetic to my complaint. This may seem small to a multi franchised store but to me this disrespect towards me and my items isn't acceptable. Like my attitude or not this was avoidable and if it's your policy, it's a bad one. If I'm the first, let me be the last. Be better ma'am's. i received a response from the business. I have already informed them by phone that I would NEVER be doing business with their company again so the retaliatory notice that I'm not welcome at the store is none of my concern. I said and I'll quote " you didn't have to treat my shit like trash, I had bins and could have left them ma'am" but I guess that's harsh. I love how your manager mentioned hearing the interaction but still chose to leave mid altercation. You said ma'am by phone to me you heard the conversation and left. So you ignored the problem? Tell your employee that you didn't care in the moment but was able to tell me off later and made sure to unwelcome me.

I have taken a lot of things in to consign or sell and they seem to manage those things very well. The reason I did not give the full five stars is that they don't do cash pay out unless they buy the item upfront. The way you get paid for your items is taking half off your purchases which is a bit confusing and does not allow you to actually get any cash. That being said, I highly recommend them. If you have nice, child-related items that you would like to get something for but you don't want to go to the trouble of selling it yourself, this is a great option. It turns your unused things into a great discount off the things you need from their store.

They had a pretty great selection of clothing, most of it in great condition. I found my daughter a pair of nice jeans and a cute top. They also have some toys and books for sale. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best parts is that they have a play area (gated) so your kid can have fun while you shop. Brilliant. My daughter was super excited about this (we just dragged her through the antique mall nearby where she couldn't touch any of the collectible toys, haha). The owners are really nice and helpful. We found out that they also work with local organizations that connect them with families in need. Awesome. Great experience and will definitely be returning. It's tucked away in the middle so it's a bit hard to locate at first. The parking is a bit odd cause you'll more than likely have to park directly in front of another business- and while that sounds normal, once you see it, you'll know what I mean! When you enter Tiny Texan Exchange, it is a small shop but it is full of merchandise! There is a growing selection of infant, toddler, small child, and maternity clothes. As well as toys, accessories, baby gear, and a few other bits and bobs. My son, unfortunately, did not fit anything that had to offer at the time (pre-grand opening) so we opted to purchase a couple toys! The owner was there, working hard, and holding great conversation the whole time! She loves to yap- a woman of my own heart! We look forward to selling items and hopefully purchasing clothing in the near future. At this time, they are only offering store credit for sold merchandise but for most that works out perfectly!

However, the reason this location is receiving a 3 star review is because their customer service skills are lacking and the employees are not the most pleasant to be around. They aren't very helpful, there have been a few time where I've tried to ask a question and they are very avoidant. When you're checking out the cashiers are always very cold and do not engage at all. They almost seem annoyed with customers which is a very disappointing reaction to receive.
