I was in search for an artist that I could trust and establish a life long client/artist relationship with. I was referred to Bri, researched her work and determined off her Instagram page that she did great work. Initially it started great we had worked out appointments (6 hour session with $100 and $150 an hour) and work. I loved it. She understood that I wanted a willow tree and the underground below it with two coffins (changed by me to one coffin for my dad and a box because my mom was cremated that she agreed to) before any work was done. She asked to push out the appointment which was no problem. She did the tree and it was beautiful but wasnt finished. I added some additional ideas to the top which was the night sky with the moon to cover a tattoo on my neck (if doable) and two constellations but in star form. She loved the idea. We had to schedule another appointment which I canceled due to a family emergency. She understood and later reschedule due to a family emergency as well. Life happens we are all human. I went in for my second session and finished up the tree and started on the clouds. She ended up telling me she didnt feel comfortable doing the ground work and suggested another female artist do the work. During this conversation the other female artist had lost her adderall pill and the conversation seemed to then be focused on looking for the pill. I didnt really like the other artists work so opted to not go that direction. Instead of hurting anyone's feelings I said I had to put the bottom half on the back burner. I asked her to finish the top that she started and asked how long of a session and she said half a day $450 with a $100 deposit. I said perfect. She then ran a mothers day special that was half a day for half the price. I asked for that special in May and she said yes just pay the deposit. I asked how do I get that to her and what day and time. She said venmo or cashapp and she would get me a day and that she had a few open. This was in April. There was two venmos so I had her confirm and noted that she had had a lot of changes so I wanted to make sure I got the right one. April 7 I paid the deposit and asked to her to confirm the date/time and that $125 was due the day of. I bumped it twice because I received no response. She replied Apr 14th telling me she had a June 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th and 17th-19th. I told her I was confused because she said she could book me in May. But not wanting to debate it and just being nice I said June 3rd (remember this is a Tuesday) would work if nothing was available in May. She said let her finish that tattoo and she would re read to confirm. I didnt hear from her and I asked on Apr 17th if she had re read the messages. She responded on Apr 22nd and said yes and that it would have to be for June then provided me with different dates and them being June 2nd (this is a Monday that she offered), 4th, and 6th. And that she was getting her books back together and digital and that she would need my email and phone number so she could manually put me in. I replied on Apr 23rd and agreed to June 2nd and asked to confirm the $125 again and if the top would be finished. Provided my email and phone number. May 5th I checked the portal and didnt see anything and still hadnt heard from her so I let her know I didnt see anything and to confirm the appointment and price again. May 6th she replied that she didnt send one but had me down at 11 am and confirmed $125 was due. June 2nd I showed up to my appointment and noone was there. I messaged at 11:01 saying "hey girl Im here the door says closed". Nothing, so I checked our messages and confirm that it was June 2nd at 11, deposit paid and that I was still waiting. I later get a response from Jimmy bros booking assistant advising "Bri no longer does Sundays and Mondays. She has stated that in updates a few times. I never got to you to reschedule you my apologies. I can get you rescheduled right now for a Tuesday-Saturday date. Things can get missed especially when scheduling and rescheduling numerous people. I appreciate your patience with this transition." Obviously I am pissed at this point and tire of being jacked around. So I responded with "Are you serious right now". I get a response "Hi Michelle, I totally understand this is frustrating. Yes I am serious. Bri has shifted her work schedule and no longer tattoos on Sundays or Mondays. We've done our best to communicate that through several updates. Unfortunately, it looks like this appointment wasn't properly adjusted on our end and I take fully responsibility for that. I am more than happy to reschedule you for a weekday that works best for you. We appreciate your understanding during this transition- its been a process, but we're working had to improve how things run moving forward." I ask "Can you please refund my deposit". See the photos below for the rest. Completely unprofessional and it's such a shame.

BAIT AND SWITCH! For starters..mine and my friend's appointment got pushed out an hour because she didn't pay her electric bill. (No worries-not a huge deal) that made the appointment from 12pm to 1pm. (Again-no big deal. Things happen) When we got inside we were told that the tattoo size was going to be hand sized. (Which was a big deal because she was sent photos beforehand with examples of what we wanted. Including an edited photo of one of the example tattoos on someone's back to show the details of size-which went a little below the neckline to the bra line between the shoulder blades. Also none of the examples sent were hand sized so that should have been specified ahead of the actual appointment/before the deposit was given.) I was bluntly honest with her and told her I was unaware that it would be that small. I tried to find something else that would be less work and EVERYTHING I chose-she said would be hand sized. There was a total lack of preparedness and professionalism. It was obvious that this shop was very new and not a very well functioning business. She was eventually nice enough to enlarge the piece but also made a comment about not needing us to bash her online. She also threw a comment in about how she generally charges $150/hr (which isn't unheard of but that's definitely a top tier artists rate) and that it would take her well over the amount of time being payed for, for her to do it. (It was a lot of line work with very minimal shading..no color) She pulled us back around 1:30, had to stencil me twice (also no big deal-I'd rather it sit right). Slapped the tattoo on my back in less than an hour (which was a little strange considering "it was going to take longer") and then set up for the second tattoo and had to stencil her twice (again no biggie), slapped the tattoo on her back in less than an hour. We were both done by 3:45. SO 2 HOURS AND 15 MIN WORTH OF WORK (not just tattoo time but stenciling and resetting up for a second tattoo) COSTED US $600!! Im not sure if she was just upset about the whole situation and just wanted her money? Cause I've seen her instagram and thought she did nice work...But as for the tattoos me and my friend received-her attention to detail is VERY poor. Some of the line work is pretty bad. We were supposed to have matching tattoos and some of it doesn't even match. Let alone match the sketch given. I think that could have been avoided if she would have taken more time. (which we apparently paid for if she's charging $150/hr) she also told us it was her day off when she's the one that gave the day as one of the options to get tattooed? I would not recommend getting tattooed by the owner of the shop (baby b)-I can't speak on anyone else that works there but definitely not somewhere I'm going back to or recommending to anyone. She's a horrible business woman. We are going to have to get the tattoos fixed and we got them a week ago.

This tattoo shop has given me such a horrible experience. I was talking with Justin first, he sold…read moreme on his work. I paid my $250 deposit and was told that he was not able to do my tattoo on my chosen day because he was heading out of town but he told me Mike would be able to take care of me, no problem. I went almost the whole week without hearing from Mike, I then got ahold of him a couple of days before I was scheduled to find out his drawing was not even close to what I wanted. I contacted Justin again and he put me in touch with the tattoo shop's owner, James. James promised he would take care of it himself. I ended up getting sunburned at work and James told me he wouldn't tattoo me because of it so we scheduled it for the following Sunday (today). I didn't hear from him one time during the week, I finally contacted Justin again to say I wanted my deposit back because they failed to live up to their side of the deal. James finally reached out to me saying the tattoo was ready but couldn't send me a picture of it. I told him I wasn't interested and I would find someone else to do it and I wanted my deposit back. I attached screen shots of his responses. I would not recommend this tattoo shop to anyone because they will take your money for a deposit and then fail to do the job and then blame you and keep your deposit.
