Cindy is professional, listens to what her customers would like, and cares strongly about them. She would verify what I said, so she knew she understood me correctly. Cindy is also very good at taking what you want and making it better. She then rescheduled me with an older stylist which is whatever right? I was like ok I'll trust the process. I get there a couple minutes late because of major road work and traffick. I call them because I couldn't see anything about their business from the parking lot and (mind you) I'm from out of state. "Texas seems to forget they're made up of mostly and mainly immigrants, or "out of towners" So anyway, I called while being less than 10 minutes late. Tell me how this lady cancels my appointment for the second time. I'm actually glad that I didn't trust my head with these old hags because first of all I asked for a portfolio of the work they do and I was told by both stylist that they don't actually have any proof of their own work and that the pics online was not infact their own actual work. So I'm just suppose to trust the process first, right¿, then go off of a whem because they "say" that they have skills? Well, I think not!. Thank God I didn't have to rep these people in my next photo shoot. The kicker is that now i try to go click on their website listed and tell me how its gonna ask me to make a site instead of showing the information for the salon. Jesus women. 100/10 - The Best Nail Salon Experience I've Had I've lived…read morein Abilene for four years. For the first two years, I drove all the way back to Fort Worth every two weeks to get my nails done because I couldn't find anyone locally I trusted with my nails. Then I met Grecia. What started as a chance encounter turned into one of the best beauty decisions I've made since moving here. I've now been a client of Grecia's for two years, and I honestly can't imagine trusting anyone else with my nails. Grecia is incredibly talented, professional, creative, and consistent. She was doing BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) long before it became popular around town, and her attention to detail is unmatched. Whether I bring her a simple idea or an inspiration photo, she always takes the vision and executes it flawlessly. My most recent Juneteenth-inspired set is a perfect example. I showed her a photo and she recreated it beautifully, capturing every detail while still making it uniquely hers. Time and time again, she proves why I keep coming back. What makes BG special isn't just the quality of the work. It's the people. Grecia, Fallon (Falli), and the entire team create an atmosphere that is welcoming, friendly, and professional. After two years, appointments feel less like errands and more like catching up with friends. I've had nail technicians in both the Metroplex and Abilene, so I don't make this statement lightly: Grecia is one of the best nail technicians I've ever had. In fact, when I eventually move back to the DFW area, my biggest concern won't be finding a new house. It'll be finding someone who can compare to Grecia. I still haven't found that person. If you're looking for healthy nails, beautiful designs, exceptional customer service, and a salon that genuinely values its clients, BG is the place to go. Four years in Abilene. Two years with Grecia. Countless compliments on my nails. I'd recommend BG Nail Salon a thousand times over.

I honestly do not recommend BG Nail Salon…read more This was my first time visiting the salon, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I went in for a pedicure and was charged $68. Before my appointment, I asked if Grecia was available, but I was told she was out of town, so I decided to give another technician a try. The technician was polite, but the service itself was not what I expected. I received a basic pedicure with very little attention to detail. My acrylic toenail was cut incorrectly, my nails were cut too short, and the overall service felt rushed. I showed the technician a photo of the design I wanted, but I was told it could not be done. I then showed a second design, but they did not have the heart decoration needed. I changed my request again to a butterfly design, but because my nails had already been cut too short, the butterfly was too large to fit properly. At that point, after being there for over an hour and seeing the design was not turning out correctly, I decided to switch to a simple French tip pedicure. Even that did not come out the way I expected. It became obvious that once another customer arrived for an appointment, the technician began rushing through my service. When I paid, I asked for a breakdown of the charges and was told the total included the basic pedicure, acrylic work, and shellac polish. Although I was unhappy with the final result, I still paid in full. Afterward, I took photos and reached out to Grecia to explain what happened and give her an opportunity to address my concerns. She told me she would review the salon's video footage and get back to me. Instead of following up or attempting to resolve the issue, she blocked me. Mistakes can happen, and I understand that no salon is perfect. However, what disappointed me the most was not the pedicure itself--it was the lack of professionalism and customer service afterward. As a paying customer, I expected my concerns to be taken seriously and handled respectfully. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
