I was assigned Texas True Appliance Repair through Frigidaire for a scheduled service appointment…read more The appointment window passed without a technician arriving and without any communication regarding a delay or cancellation. At 3:52 PM, after receiving no call or update, I contacted Frigidaire because it had become clear that no one was going to show up. During that conversation, I was told Texas True Appliance Repair had called and texted me. The only communication I received was the original appointment confirmation text. There were no missed calls, voicemails, or additional messages. No service was performed, and my time was wasted waiting for an appointment that never occurred. I hope Electrolux and Frigidaire reevaluate their partnership with this service provider, as this experience fell well short of reasonable customer service expectations.

They arrived on time, and got the assessment done immediately. My quote was extremely high compared to how old my fridge is, they recommended I just buy a new fridge as the price was the same as a new fridge. I will be taking their advice and get a new fridge.

I was charged $125 and told they would get me a quote. The quote was $200 to come back and install a $70 dollar part. Most companies will take the initial charge off of the second visit if a part needs to be ordered. I would not recommend them. Feeling ripped off. From R&D I just…read moredon't get it. I felt like this was just wrong Service requested: I ask for a repair to replace a gas stove part. I pay a fee to have them come out because they want to do a diagnostic, telling me that the fee will be applied the repair. So they come out, only to tell say they don't carry the part. Wait, what?! That's not quality In addition, there's been no value add, just a waste of time and money. From my perspective, it feels like they're just collecting fees without doing any repairs. If serious about the business, a more prudent approach would be to ask the customer for the make and model # first, to see if you carry the part(s) before charging the customer a trip fee.

Shane came out to assess my dryer after it stopped functioning despite having power and being…read morecleaned of its lint trap. He determined it was an internal thermostat fuse that popped to prevent a fire. He waited for the part and replaced it in a subsequent visit. Fast forward a week, my dryer again has the same issue. They came out quick and we took preventative action (clean dryer drum and vent from laundry wall to external wall). Both my drum and vent conduit was relatively clean. So it looks like our control panel is faulty and would need to be replaced given its false positive for overheating. Instead of incurring additional part and labor costs which would have amounted to half of a new dryer anyway, I elected to replace. So although our dryer didn't work or get resolved, Shane was thorough and polite and engaged my husband and me on what was going on and steps forward. I'm glad to hear that Doc Danielson hires veterans and had a great technician who wanted the best outcome for the customer even if the appliance wasn't worth saving. If something craps out again, I'm sure I'll go back to get good honest work. Thanks Shane and thanks Doc Danielson!
