The place is dirty and the meat is bad and expired. I was shocked when I saw a rat in the kitchen. I noticed that they cook the food there without even washing the pots from previous cook The prices is expensive compared to other places

I especially love their chicken, which comes with fluffy basmati rice and whatever veggie dish they have for the day ( love their okra!)and a salad to top it off!

All street parking and we had to circle around to find a spot so plan ahead. We got a red wine and the flawless victory cocktail. I got to try a couple wines before committing to a glass. My partner loved his cocktail. Super well balanced and really unique combo of flavors. Both drinks paired well with all our food too. Zucchini pancakes (2/5) - the only miss. The pancakes were not crispy at all and ate very mushy. The carrot curry was delish but all the flavors together with the raita didn't really do it for me. White bean hummus (4/5) - amazing flavor and the little sesame ring it comes with was yummy. The texture of the hummus could have been smoother though. Sugar snaps (5/5) - perfect sweet and salty balance and really great texture from the quinoa. Good creaminess too. Octopus souvlaki (5/5) - well charred octopus and tender. The flavors were rich in flavor. Yellow split pea was a nice creamy base. Revani snack cake (5/5) - we almost didn't get dessert but glad we did! It a citrus pound cake with a pineapple glaze and a spiced macadamia crunchy topping. Served chilled. Very yummy and not too heavy. Overall very happy we tried this place. It's pricey for what you get but nice for a special occasion.

The menu changes often, which makes me wish I lived closer so I could visit regularly. We ordered quite a few dishes, and the portions were perfect for sharing. The fresh bread was an amazing start to the meal, and the sugar snap peas were a standout. Since the menu is always evolving, my recommendation is to ask your server what the chef is most excited about and order it. You really can't go wrong. This was a memorable dining experience, and I hope my next visit won't be too far away.

(Last visited 4/7/2025.) In Boston on business and my hotel is in Revere, but I'm coming from the…read morewest so I wanted to stop somewhere to eat that was on the way to where I was staying. I used my handy-dandy Yelp Boston app and landed on Nour cafe! I saw that they had #shawarma and that it was some of the best in the area, so here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is literally a gas station, but there's nothing wrong with that. You pull up to the Shell, get some gas or park at a pump that's out of order or one of the available parking spots off to the right, but this place isn't really designed for you to dine in. Lol. Yes, you can sit in and eat off to the left side, but they really want you to leave. Once inside you make a right and above the drink coolers are a series of TVs that show you the menu. Continue to your right and you'll see the kitchen where all of the magic happens. Simple setup here. Service: There isn't any. You walk up to the counter, order your food, pay for it where you'd normally pay for gas then wait for them to call your name. My food was ready in 10 minutes. Food: I went with the mixed grill plate because I just FELT IN MY SOUL that I'd get a WHOLE LOT of food. Boy was I right! Lol. So the mixed grill plate comes with chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, ground lamb kabob, rice, a big pita, pickled vegetables, a slaw, a grilled onion mixture and hummus. Wow. Everything was SO good, SO seasoned and SO filling. I literally could eat on this for 2 and maybe 3 meals! I broke the pita into 4 smaller pieces and then made mini shawarmas with different meats in them! Lol. It was a bit messy, but you can totally eat this with a fork and knife without a problem. The food was excellent. Value: $16.99 is what I paid and when I got to my hotel then opened the lid to see all of that food I was just so blown away. How did they make any money by giving me all of this?! Lol. Astounded. Everything on the menu is cheap and there were many things under $10.00. In conclusion, I'd definitely pull up and get this exact same meal again! I went with the mixed grill to experience the different meats this place had to offer. I loved eating from here.

A location in an quiet residential part of Watertown? Now, it's really just a take-out/delivery spot. The restaurant is located in the back of the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center, where they have an industrial kitchen. There is limited signage. Basically, you go to the back of the building, where it is unfinished and basically a dirt plot. The backdoor is open where you can pick up your order if you elect to do takeout. I only saw one person working (a nice middle-aged lady). Unfortunately, some delivery person took my order so I had to wait around for the restaurant to fulfill the order. Otherwise, the food was terrific. The braised beef wrap was fresh and flavorful. The fattoush and Armenian salads were very fresh and were great accompaniments. In their hurry to fulfill the order, the restaurant missed one of the wraps. But they offered to refund us for the missing wrap, so it was fine. If you are hankering for some Anoush'ella, but are in the suburbs, you now don't have to go into Boston or Cambridge anymore. Just go to a non-descript back of a cultural center (or better, just get it delivered).
