Steamed smoked duck. Delicate and moist.

If you love raw marinated Korean crab in soy sauce and you don't want to drive to K-town, now here is a good GG option. They only use good sized female blue crabs for the dish. I love it accented with their fragrant sesame oil on top of a hot bowl of rice. The delicate contents on the inside of the shell is so rich and full of umami flavor. The gochujung version is also delicious. It is not too salty and resides at an easy to enjoy level of spiciness. The steamed duck dish was definitely more than a 1-2 person portion advertised on the menu which justifies the $89 price. I was too full by the time it was ready to eat and it got overpowered by the crab dishes but it was a great meal later that night. The service is prompt and attentive. We will definitely be back.

This place is located in the side of Hmart. This place has a lot of seats and typically not busy. Had a wide range of Korean food. I went here for the raw marinated crabs which were good. I've tried the soy marinated crab but felt that the portions are really small. My fav here was the spicy raw marinated crabs and corn cheese. I tried their galbi and monk fish but it was okay. I felt some dishes could be marinated better or longer. The fish would have the sauce outside but the actually fish was plain. I also felt like none of the dishes I had were spicy.I do think there potential but wish the dishes had a more impactful taste.

My husband and I ordered Hinoki steam smoked duck& beef and spicy marinated raw crab. We were both very impressed !! Everything tasted so yummy and healthy including their side dishes. Also, the owner of the restaurant was super nice and genuine. I hope this restaurant sticks around for a longgg time:)

Great place for marinated raw crab either with soy sauce or spicy. We got both crabs and the duck. The banchans were great and the portion sizes generous. We had lots of left overs to take home. This is a new restaurant with lots of space and very clean. We hope to come back soon to try the other menu items. Lots of parking out front cause it's in the HMart center. Everything was delicious. Happy Yelping!

Gopchang, daechange is what has me coming back for more. I love how it includes rice balls with it. After we eat about two of the rice balls, I regret not saving it and making fried rice with the leftover gopchang and daechange. One day when I'm there I shall remember. Bossam was really good. I love how it was presented in a wooden box. It says to leave it close so it can steam for a certain amount of time (I forgot), but I suggest not going by the time they say. I would steam it for less because the veggies were overcooked. Other than that, it was really good It's a small place and this place gets busy. I noticed a lot of to go orders too. They are that good. While there, when one group leaves, another shows up at a perfect time to take it up.

Food is pretty good. We ordered the army stew, grilled abalone, soy sauce raw marinated crab, and the hinoki steam beef brisket and it was all good. My fav was the steamed beef and the army stew. The side dishes are also all so good, we kept getting refills! Inside of the restaurant is pretty big and spacious and service was great when we came! Little on the pricier side, but will probably be back again because the food was good! Was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures before..

If you get the marinated crabs, I highly recommend getting the kal guksu too! The crab was absolutely delicious. Not too salty but salty enough for it to be perfectly paired with rice! 2 crabs fed all 3 people in my party. After eating the crab, I ordered the kal guksu and its cold and clear broth was an amazing way to end the meal. It's a little vinegary so it really cleans your taste buds after. They lived up to their name because the banchan was absolutely extraordinary! I love authentic korean restaurants that put so much love and care into the side dishes as well. My favorite was the steamed cabbage with the soybean paste because it's really unique to this place and you don't normally see them at other places. The potato salad was so exquisite as well! I love how much apples were in it making it salty and sweet and crunchy! My mouth is watering thinking about going back!

This ma and pa like shop restaurant, is absolutely delicious and tasty in every way! My partner and I have come and eaten here at least once a week since they've opened bc of how good is it! From their spicy marinated crab, to their kalguksu, chicken ginseng, and various side dishes, we always leave SO satisfied and filled!! The owner is always so respectful and polite. It truly feels like you're being taken cared of and the food comes out in a timely manner as well! Please come and show support if you're in the area!

Everything was delicious. banchan -delicious. Spicy seasoned raw marinated crabs - Incredible. Tea - so soothing. Soup - Perfection. Rice - it was GOOD rice. Service - excellent! I could have finished everything because it was that good, but I decided to take my leftover crab and a half to go. My conscience told me to give my tummy a break. My brain and heart insisted that I should come back to try the rest of the menu. (For once, they actually agree on something!) I came for dinner on Thursday around 7:45pm and I was the only person there. If you can, support this business!

The food here is absolutely delicious! I came here as a party of four. We ordered the brisket and duck with an extra order of brisket and the soy marinated crabs just 2. This was my first time having marinated crabs and it was amazing!!! The duck was also delicious. Perfectly steamed cooked and I'll probably won't want it cooked any other way. The service was really good even though it was only 3 person staff at the time. The sign on the door says grand opening is Nov 4 so I guess it was still soft opening when I went. I hope it doesn't get too crowded to the point there's a long wait but the food is so amazing I wouldn't be surprised if it does become really popular. I would definitely recommend this place.

The service was attentive. Well they are new and we are their 2nd table. Food is very delicious. I found my OC soy marinated crab, I don't have to drive to LA Vermont no more. Oh did I mention their bancha are really tasty I can tell it's on the higher quality bancha.

The place popped up as new with good review so I decided to try! I tried the Hoinooo steam beef brisket and it was really good! Worth trying and me and my wife got good service.

Tangy pickled or fermented veggies, sweet pineapple, mushrooms, and soups help cut through all that richness from the fat. The pork and kimchi soup especially hits - it's super comforting and balances out the meal. This is also a great alternative if you're craving BBQ but don't have the stomach space for AYCE. Man was I surprised by this one!…read more Dawa Kitchen is a delicious spot nestled in the corner of the plaza. FOOD: The Katsu Curry is easily the best deal on the menu for sharing. For $25 you get a huge chicken katsu with curry pairing. The katsu was crispy, hot, and fresh when it came out. Very tasty! The curry itself is good, but doesn't have the same punch of flavor as other curry katsu places. Still good though! This dish could definitely feed 2 people. We also opted for the Ddeokbokki. This dish had great flavor and the rice cakes were cooked perfectly! Just as a heads up, if you are used to Ddeokbokki having extra's like fish cake and cheese, this does not come with it unless added. Overall, for value and flavor this is great! PARKING: Parking is tight in the complex and I would recommend getting there early just in case there's none available. WAIT/AMBIANCE: This place was packed when we arrived with a clear waitlist of 5+ parties. Try to get on the Yelp waitlist ahead of time to make sure you get seated in a timely manner. You can also look to make a reservation as that was also faster for me! Overall ambiance is good, and the restaurant was playing some Justin Bieber! DRINKS: For a casual dining place we opted to get soju and a beer as it was $10 per bottle. Also not too bad of a deal to pair with your meal! Overall would recommend this place! The meal starts with what feels like an endless lineup of little side dishes, a fried fish, rice in a scorching hot stone bowl, and then the bubbling tofu soup (medium spice for me) arrives like it's angry at the table. I ordered the bulgogi combo (C2) and everything was flavorful, comforting, and honestly just fun to eat. OK maybe a few too many onions for me. The stone pot rice situation was an adventure on its own. They ask you if you want them to pour hot water into the bowl to loosen the crispy rice stuck to the sides. I tried it. Felt very authentic. Still not fully convinced my rookie self handled it correctly, but we survived. What I liked most was the atmosphere and adventure. You can tell this place has a loyal following and there's a reason Yelp absolutely loves it. It feels authentic without being intimidating, and the portions are no joke.
