He said he would send someone out ASAP. 25 MINUTES LATER a truck shows up. The tech Alex was polite, friendly and professional. Turns out the generator was left off by the last guys to come out. He fixed the problem and tested the switch before he left. IT IS VERY RARE these days to find a company that provides such excellent and FAST service AND there was no charge for the visit. As for those who read the bad comments on his page, need to be upfront with expectations. When meeting Hamid and discussing what I would like done which was installing a ceiling fan, adding outlets to areas for microwave and dishwasher, installing recessed lights (14) and 3 ceiling lights, and upgradings from a small panel to a much larger one, and lastly going from 100 amps to 200 service, I knew it was a big job and it would take some time. When he tells you to work with him, then that's what you do if you're prepared for it. We were upfront with what we needed and so was he. Other electric companies put you on hold with an answering service. I called him on a Sunday while doing a light fixture on my own and he picked up. No waiting, quick response to text or call. When we told him that besides the painting we also needed carpentry (new to the area we didn't know anybody) he was able to find a person to work alongside to complete the carpentry in record time. He also demonstrated a good artistic ability for colors and esthetics. He made suggestions that save us expense. They prepared and painted the walls of the basement, garage and powder room. Installed and finished the baseboards in the basement, installed a frame and door to a closet, prepared and stained the stairs going to the basement and removed the carpet from the bedrooms' hallway and installed new wood floors. We just bought our first home in Chester, so as you can imagine I did not know the first thing about the process of needing work done. It is so hard to try to find someone (contractor, electrician, carpenter, plumber) who is knowledgeable, reliable, honest, quick at responding to text and phone calls, and reasonably priced. I found Brian from online reviews and I took a chance and gave him a call. He was amazing! Was prompt, able to give me a price over the phone, and the best part which is unheard of he was able to do the work practically immediately. I was on a time constraint and the project he and his crew came to do was only suppose to be one room recessed lighting and running electric and chandelier to 2 rooms. We decided at the last minute to add more electrical projects and needed help with electric work being done on the bathroom too, and he was able to work with me and do everything we needed all in one day!!!! Which made me so so happy. Brian is so honest that the quote he gave me for the add on project came out to be hundreds cheaper than I was told( i mean who else would be so honest like that) his prices were also very reasonable! Great guys. I just bought a house with a buttload of electrical issues. It was overwhelming. I spoke with Brian, the owner of the business, and he came up out personally to give me a quote. As a first time homeowner, there's a lot I don't know about electric; but he gave me a much fairer price and timetable than anyone else I spoke to who smelled my inexperience and knew they could give me any quote. His guys RJ and Shane came out the next week and fixed my house's electricity. They made sure I understood exactly what they were doing and kept me updated the entire time each step of the way as they worked on my house's electricity. The guys were nice, funny, super friendly and extremely informative. They even gave me great advice on other repairs I was working on unrelated to electricity! I called Brian at B-Electric because when my new stove was delivered, the delivery men said the outlet box in my house was not for a stove, but for a dryer, so they could not plug in my new electric stove. They recommended I call an electrician to install a new outlet box. Brian responded quickly and was at my house within a couple of hours. He determined nothing was wrong with my outlet box, but the delivery people had plugged a 30 amp dryer cord on the stove. Brian went to the store, bought the correct 50 amp cord and installed it. Brian also left a detailed invoice and advised me to contact the store for a refund, which I did, successfully. Brian was proactive and solved our problem quickly and seamlessly. I was doing "laundry by lantern" for months. I hired B-Tec based upon the yelp reviews that I saw here. I was not disappointed and, in fact, was very, very impressed. I reached out through this site late on a Friday night, and I had a reply from Brian before 7:30am on a Saturday! In fact, I even got a call back on Saturday and an appointment was set up right away. Ryan came to my house and figured out the problem, installed a new ceiling fan and fixed a light problem I had going on upstairs. He was was knowledgeable, friendly and kept everything super clean. This company is professional from start to finish. I will use B-Tec Electric for all my electrical needs. They installed 5 ceiling fans, 2 of the rooms had nothing before so they needed to create the location, 1 chandelier ( again started from scratch so to speak) , 3 dimmer switches, and a timer for my pools pump. They did on a different date installed 2 outside main lights. Brian and his crew were very respectful to my home, they are personable, and I enjoyed speaking with them about things other than my service needs. I had an issue with 1 ceiling fan making a clicking noise, I called the company and they were at my home the same day. I had found B-Tec (Brain) after contacting several other Electricians in the area with either no contact back or spotty responses. Used his online estimate tool on his website and got a call back within 24 hours to discuss in more detail what the project required and a time to set up the quote/work. Himself and a co-worker were on time and finished the project within 2 hours. Discussed options and came up with a game plan and gave a very respectable price, we added some extras such as better lighting, an indoor motion sensor, and fixed an outside motion sensor flood light. Sometimes when I see a trade with all 5 star reviews, I think it's too good to be true. B-tec deserves all the praise it has received. Every trade should run their business like Brian. After months of trying to find an electrician to hang a ceiling fan and foyer fixture on an 19' ceiling, I reached out to B-tec on Yelp and gave them a shot. This is a review that is long over due. Brian and his team did work on our house last year. We had several electrical projects to complete on a recently renovated old stone house. Some of the projects were complex and needed significant troubleshooting to solve due to the age and nature of the original structure. The work was done in two phases and we worked with two different crews. So, we can vouch that he has more than one excellent crew. Okay...If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Contacted via Yelp ON A SATURDAY, got text back and price for 210 plug for stove. Brian texted me at 12.13pm and the electrician just left. It is 4.27pm. WOW. He asked me for a broom to sweep up. I will recommend and use B-Tech again. Don't even bother to call anyone else. Same day service and on a Saturday? Just bought a house in Belvidere NJ and we came across B-Tec on Yelp. B-Tex Electric electrician have done an excellent job at my house. The first job they did was to install the charging system for my EV Hybrid car. We scheduled the work. They showed up as scheduled. The second time I had them install a new AC circuit breaker panel and kitchen wiring for the remodel. A job well done and on time. The third time was to replace meter box. Brian and his crew installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet and a couple other 110v outlets in my garage. They are friendly, professional, clean, and I am really happy with the way it turned out. In my basement, they took the time to tuck and tack the new wires really cleanly- it's hardly noticeable that they're even there. In my garage, the outlets were flush with the wall, not a big metal box like a lot of other NEMA 14-50 installs you see online. We had been looking for a electrician we could always go to. Always helps to have someone to cover…read moreevery trade you may own when you have a home. So my wife found BMSE Electrical. While the initial work that he did was fine, the service afterwards leads us to that we can't possibly recommend them for electric work. We asked Brian to wire our living room from our office with cat5 as we had a need for a wired connection. He installed the wire and on the surface, it looked fine. When it didn't function properly, repeated emails and calls to Brian were yessed to death and left hanging. He even lied to say he stopped by our house and left a business card. I eventually diagnosed the problem that he wired the cat5 incorrectly as a crossover cable. Once I relayed this to him, still, he continued to blow me off. I even offered $10 for him to stop by when he was in the area to correct the job he had done wrong and he STILL didn't come. In the end, a friend recommended a crossover cable adapter ordered online and that fixed the problem (as 2 crossovers equals standard ethernet, so the adapter canceled out the crossover effect). So, after 4 months of trying to get Brian back here, I fixed the problem myself, at my own cost. Now, the cable has stopped working altogether and I have no reason not to believe it wasn't the poor job he did installing it. For that reason, I cannot recommend them for your electrical needs.

I was nervous about the sheetrock/ceiling damage that might be required and assumed they would use conduit in the garage. To my great surprise they were able to install all the wiring inside the walls, with no conduit needed and minimal cutting of sheetrock, which they patched. I couldn't be happier with the job they did, exceeded my expectations and it was done at a very reasonable price as I had several quotes for the job. We were very impressed with the service. Office staff responded to all our calls and messages promptly. They could not do the work on the originally scheduled date but called us a few days in advance to let us know that the equipment received had a defect. They came, promptly on the next scheduled date after confirming multiple times. The installers who came were terrific. Two were trainees but the rest of them had been with the company for many years and all were very happy employees. They worked efficiently and expertly, leaving a working beautifully. We received a paid invoice the next day along with some further instructions. There was no nickel and dime-ing with anything. We would recommend them highly.

I also knew it would be expensive because it has been discontinued due to government regulations. Ron Jon charged me $400/lb!!! That sounded extravagantly high, so I decided to check. Most HVAC contractors (I called 3) would not give a price for the freon over the phone. They ALL wanted to send a technician out, for a fee, and the technician would then tell me the cost. What a racket! At last, I found a nice lady at Air Group in Hanover to tell me the 1st LB would be $400, and then each pound after that would be $200/lb. So, for 4 lbs of freon R-22, Ron Jon ripped me off the $600!
