It's my first time taking my son here and I have to say my son liked his haircut for the first time in 14 years lol. They respond to your texts super quick and reserving a time is super easy they have two locations I believe one in Pasadena and one in Alhambra, we went to the Alhambra area which is a lot more closer the quality of the haircut and the service that they give it's a really good price.. The place is nice ! I will definitely recommend the spot for men's haircut and kids haircut. I'm not sure about women's haircut because I haven't cut my hair here but I'm assuming that they're really good. read more

This salon does a great job with my teen and preteen boys' haircuts. They each have different types of hair (one has wavy hair and the other straight), but the stylists successful create the look they're going for in a way that works for their hair. These stylists also understand current trends for their age , so the cut is modern (vs dated or of the wrong generation, which we've seen in other salons). read more

I walked in without an appointment since both yesterday and today (as of the writing of this review) I was unable to get a haircut with the people over at Floyd's Barbershop. I am glad fate brought me here. Fiona was a true professional and an expert of her craft. This hair salon is a tad pricier than others but also a tier above others in terms of quality and attention to detail. I think she used like 4 or 5 different types of trimmers to get everything just right. I appreciated also the fact that I was able to get top-tier service despite not having an appointment. read more

cut my bangs way too short, asked for texture and layering and instead got bland blended flat hair, my result looks nothing like the reference photo, my barber even styled it differently from the reference photo. i paid $45 to look horrible and i have prom today. very dissapointed. read more

Fiona did a great job executing exactly what I asked for. I showed her some pictures of what I wanted, and she listened carefully. She asked me questions and she did exactly what I said. She used multiple top-notch tools with excellent skill, and I felt very taken care of. She took care of little grooming bits without my asking. The salon was quiet and Fiona was also very quiet, although polite and friendly. It was a comfortable experience that resulted in what I asked for. Just make sure you know what you want, because she will do what you ask for. I highly recommend. Also, I have some specific hair products that I like to use, and Fiona had some different ones, so I didn't finish styling my hair until I got home to do that. read more

It's kind of difficult to find a barber/hair salon out of the blue especially searching on yelp now a days. honestly pretty tough to pick between the hair stylists but i went with Fiona. she's very professional, attentive and seems like a sweet person. she also took the time to polish the cut and i was very satisfied with it esp for straight slightly thicker asian hair. there was 1 other customer the time i was in and this salon was clean, chill and had a very peaceful experience. sometimes i feel like people could over compensate / perform in the customer service aspect but the ambiance was serene and i was able to relax all the way through. i came from echo park just for this salon and i definitely will be back. thank you again fiona for the pleasant experience; i ended purchasing a hair wax location: its inside a mini mall next to the ferguson store and parking in the back is a huge plus. pricing: very very solid and worth for the experience + quality! worst experience ever dont come here if u have natural curly hair!!!! they ruined! my hair 0/0 do not come here asked for a simple burst fade mullet didnt even get a fade f this place they don't understand a single thing about hair it's obvious they're "texturing" my hair by cutting it down more when my hair naturally is textured they ruined it completely. And to top it off now I'm down $50 read more
