She feels that she communicated clearly what she wanted. She currently cannot braid it back for sports due the layers falling out. Currently she is horrified with the cut to the point of being in tears. The stylist did call to apologize but what does that do at the end of the day? Now we have to wait until December for this cut to grow out. Maybe next time the stylist should demonstrate one more time in the front where they are going to cut and be cautious (maybe cut below slightly?) -- I think it is easier to remove hair than cut it way too short. Very unhappy, would steer clear of this salon and look elsewhere. Do not recommend.

I felt welcomed upon arriving & the chairs were pretty cozy in the waiting room ;) the new client form they had me fill out is great for both me & the colorist stylist to see what my hair likes/dislikes are. I was introduced to some new products & the owner sweetly gave me free samples to try before deciding to purchase. I was just going to buy a hair gel, but she said try it first & you can always get it next time. That was cool that she didn't just try to sell me stuff, but actually cared if I like it with my hair ;) I was very happy that I called today & the owner was able to get me a same day appointment. I got the colorist, Luis & he is great at his coloring!!! I told him an issue I have is trying to get rid of the leftover red hair color that keeps popping back out after every hair color. I was looking to go back to my natural brown. Other salons always say no you need the red hair, keep it it goes with your freckles!! Yes, but that's my decision to make. I would feel like I was trying to please my hair colorist at other salons when it should be about what I want. Luis listened right away & instantly chose a color that was a great match for what I had in mind. He was fun to talk to, but let you have your quiet time if you want to just read a magazine. He's calm and knows what he's doing with hair :)
