Joann in the office is always very helpful, efficiently makes appointments for me & let's me know once my contacts are in. Very good communication from Joann in the office always! She's always pleasant & asks how I'm doing. I've gone there for years happily paying out of pocket to have my eyesight in their care. With that said, they have very reasonable pricing. I now tell anyone who is looking for an optometrist to go see Dr. Haworth. Not only is he personable and kind, he truely enjoys interacting with his patients. Dr. Haworth is kind, caring and his team is equally great. While I was waiting to be seen I overheard their staff making phone calls to confirm appointments for upcoming days and they went the extra mile to confirm insurance coverage on their patients behalf so that there were no surprises. They also send text messages reminding people of their appointments, which for an anti-phone person like me is wonderful. Their office is clean, spacious, and welcoming. I am thrilled with my experience there and would highly recommend to anyone who is in the market for a new eye doc. If I could change anything it's that it did take about 2 months to be seen as a new patient, but now that I've been there I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I like Dr. Elliott because she is honest and upfront, qualities you don't find a lot anymore. I had had LASIK in 2005 with a surgeon in mass, and I noticed things weren't as sharp anymore. I was worried, I knew the LASIK was not working anymore and I asked her professional opinion as to if I should get it fixed or not. She said that I had great sight seeing near and that if I opted for tweaking my eyes to see better far, it would affect my ability to see close up faster. I appreciated that. She also knew I was anxious - and they have tests where they quiz your eyes and I thought that maybe I had major eye issues because I would be asked "what number do you see in that box?". I didn't see any number ... so I'm thinking, oh wow my eyes can't see much at all. Dr. Elliott told me they utilize some trick questions for the younger kids, and that it was a trick question. I was relieved because I thought I was worse off than I really was! ;) The girls that work with you to get glasses for driving were amazing too. Very sweet and helpful. They took their time to see what looked best on you. You were never rushed. 5 stars in my book.

She really knows her profession from what contact lenses are available in what increments to educating clients on eye care. Although Dr. Waldorf is no longer offering appointments the business continues to grow and I am delighted to see the office will be undergoing a bit of remodeling shortly. This will allow a greater offering of eye wear and a nicer waiting area. Look forward to seeing the new space at our next visit.

Then the woman was half an hour late from her lunch break after explicitly telling me when she was going to be back at the office. My procedure involved cutting open my eyelid and was extremely painful. The Doctor did not wear protective equipment such as a mask or gloves during my procedure. I requested my procedure records be sent to my PCP and they were never sent. I requested the records a second time and still nothing. There is a reason for all the 1 star reviews.
