We were aware that the employees keep a larger dog behind the counter, but no guidance or warnings were given about keeping small dogs away from that area. While our little white chihuahua was sniffing near the counter area, the larger dog pounced and caused bleeding on our dog's ear, likely from contact with its claw. When we informed the employees, there was no apology, and only afterward did they mention that they are unsure how their dog reacts around small dogs and that they sometimes keep her away. We asked for a napkin to help with the bleeding and were not assisted, though they did provide the code for the nearest restroom so we could clean her ear ourselves. With clearer communication upfront about their dog and guidance for customers with small pets, this situation may have been avoided.

Many of their brands are smaller, local brands, which allows them to offer very reasonable prices! I didn't find jeans but am thinking about returning again soon for a few of the super soft and cozy Z Supply tops. I ordered a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes online because they seemed like a great deal. When they…read morearrived, it was obvious why, they came with no shoe box, no stuffing, and looked like a returned display pair. To make matters worse, the price sticker on the shoes showed they had been marked $20 cheaper than what I actually paid online. The store would only process a return and refused to let me repurchase them at the marked price, claiming it would be considered a "price adjustment" and wasn't allowed. So charging customers more than the marked price is okay? To make matters worse, the cashier, Ximena, was rude and dismissive. She scrutinized every inch of the shoes and the jacket I was returning as if she was trying to find a reason to deny the return. Lady, all the original tags and hangers were still attached. Is there a possibility this is exactly how it ships out, which is why I'm returning it? Crazy thoughts huh!!!

Mad Mod Shop offers a wide diversity of beautiful things and unique clothing made on-site by Andrea, master seamstress, and all-around positive vibes woman. I found a beautifully crafted hair tie and asked if there were more, so my daughter and I would have matching ties. She looked through the basket and said that she would make one on the spot! We had a bit more shopping to do, so we returned to discover a pair of beautifully matched hair ties in a beautiful, sturdy fabric that will last for years. We also couldn't pass up some of the delectable chocolates, staring at us from behind a glass case, wanting to be eaten, lol! 3-hour free street parking.
