Late review... years late. They got my stuff installed, a mix of things I'd brought in and things purchased at the store. Installed an amp, ran power and two speakers in each of my four doors. Right off the bat, audio was in mono because they'd ignored a change I'd made and provided a 10-second remedy to. I fixed that myself after returning for them to fix it and being interrupted by one of the installers who insisted it was done right and there was nothing they could do. Took me about 20 minutes, but i fixed it. After that, and it took me maybe two years to realize it, I noticed they'd failed to reconnect the alarm indicator light in one of my doors and also door trim lights for doors, sills, etc. I popped off my door panels and the connectors were there just dangling. I fixed that, too. I'm doing some rewiring now and realizing the signal to and power from the amp is a mess. Furthermore, they mounted the main amp fuse by using screws to mount it... into my car's ECU housing! That could have gone really, really bad. It didn't mess anything up, but it's less than ideal. So no... wouldn't recommend this place. From the beginning it felt strange, but I figured they must know their stuff, right? OOOF. So now, years after the install, I'm cleaning things up myself. read more

This is a part 2 because I'm trying to save you guys. My kappa infinite amp started going to protect mode since they couldn't wire things correctly if their life depended on it! Since the trebles were hooked backwards there was a lot of unused energy hints all the damn static noise I heard all throughout the car. "Oh it's a Toyota car they said" "oh it's your radio they said" "oh it's just engine noise" but what they wouldn't say is that their a bunch of damn idiots who don't know what their doing to most if not all the cars they get!!! All in all thanks to these clowns that's 800-1,000 dollars down the drain for the amp overheating and the trebles being wired backwards!! Can't say this enough GO TO CUSTOM SOUNDS!! read more

I brought my car in to get 2 12" subs installed (NOT cheap either) and when I left my door speakers aren't working anymore, my radio stations don't come out clear and they connected the bass control knob with Velcro tape which didn't even make it home before it fell off. I brought my car back in so they could fix all these things only to have them tell me it's not their fault. Then when I said the car wasn't like this when I brought it in they said they'd take a look at it, but would charge to do so. So shady.. So unless you want to get screwed I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Fast friendly cost-effective service I purchased a dashcam online thinking I could install it myself I tried and did not succeed I called 4 different car audio shops (in the upper west side) on or near 1604 and bandera B audio gave me a quote that was half the price of the other three - to install my dashcam They were able to get me in and out very quickly and did a wonderful job Since B audio went above and beyond installing a dashcam that wasn't purchased through them, I will refer any friends / family with dashcam / stereo needs to them. read more

This place is horrible and does not take care of the things they do wrong and instead told me he not gonna debate but insisted on debating about how the technician that fixed my car shouldn't have should've taken it to them when they don't fix other things then their mistakes but their mistake created a lot more issues basically fried my computer because they connected the power source to the wrong source my module to the body control and the module to my engine both were ruined came out to 1420 $ to repair and they couldn't compensate me glad kept my receipts will be taking it to court highly highly do not recommend this place poor business. read more

When I called to ask what the problem is and the potential fix, the man wouldn't let me finish talking proceeded to say "not my problem," and hung up. I would always drive by this place in the past and never stopped by cause i had my own car audio shop i went to long story short i need to find a new spot and i gave them a chance to do a custom install for my iPad mini in my dash. I will say i was blown away by the quality of work the installer has done. The price was fair pictures was sent to me during the whole process showing me exactly what was going on, so much so i even asked if they could do the bigger ipad and without blinking they took on the challenge and again made the install to look like it came from the manufactor its self. This place and staff is way better then other shops who look at you as an inconvenience cause your not spending thousands of dollars for installs i will definitely continuing using B Audio Sound read more

My husband bought me a replacement car stereo with Bluetooth for my beloved Nissan Frontier pickup, 4 years ago. It started cutting out last year, so I took it in. No receipt, never had been there myself, said I think my husband bought it from you guys. They fixed it free, no hassle. So when we were looking to upgrade our son's Mustang's sound, we went to Brother again. What I bought and paid for was not what they installed in my truck. The truck was not done on time as promised (went there 3 different times) and they failed to install the trim kit that goes around the stereo. I went back to the store and an employee (Owner's Nephew- per the owner) said they would install the trim kit at the off road shop where the truck was being worked on(about 1/2 mile from their store) Called next day and was promised they would be there right away. When I called several hours later, the owner said that nobody at his shop promised me anything and that I would need to bring the truck to him. Owner said I had been given an "upgraded" stereo for my trouble, but when I checked on line, it turns out it was a less expensive model than what I paid for. I've disputed the charge with my Credit Card company. Beware of this place. Owner is not honest. read more

I've been coming to this place for the past couple of years. Main reason is the customer service, they also speak Spanish I have brought all of our cars, and our lake boat to get the full sound system installed into it. They just did tint and a sub on my mustang and it turned out great, love the way the subwoofer turned out. Over all I really recommend this place as I have been coming here for the past 2 years to get any tint or sound worked on our cars and boat. read more

Horrible company. I bought and had a pioneer radio installed a couple years ago with a lifetime warranty with it. I brought my car to them today as the radio wouldn't even power on, and they said "you need a receipt". This is an item I bought a couple years ago, they should have my record in their system. They then tried to push the blame onto my mechanic (Ariel Hernandez from Ancira VW) saying that they broke the radio. Then they said if I wanted my record for them to fix the radio I would have to give them money to look it up. Again horrible company they don't stand by their warranty, and try to screw people over. I recommend that you take your business elsewhere. read more

I decided to get a tint job done here after being recommended by a few people. It has only been 2 days, but the tint looks good. The big issue is that when I picked up my car, I saw a huge dent and scratch on the side. I went in and asked about it. Well, no one knows what happened and it was insinuated that the dent and scratches were there before I took it in. I asked to see the video from the many cameras on site, but low and behold, I was told that the cameras do not record. I had to pay full price for the tint job and now a deductible to get the car fixed. IF you use these guys, make sure you take pictures of your car before and the odometer reading. read more

I truly wanted to give this shop 5 stars. If it were based on install quality, friendliness, helpfulness, it would be a solid 5. Instead, due to the wrongful price quote, I give them a 2. They tried to take advantage of me. I don't appreciate it. I've given it a few weeks to make sure nothing broke in the first days of owning this, it's a great system, great setup, but I'm not rating their installation quality or the item I purchased. I'm rating them as a business.. I was looking for an alarm and remote start for my truck which was just broken into. I called around and after finding a few places, decided on this small shop on the west side. I called and probed a bit before going in person, and then decided to drive in and see what they could do. I went in with a price in mind that I wanted to pay as I had a quote from best buy and it was way out of my budget, I called B's and I got a great over the phone quote, when I got there, I asked again how much, he undercutted himself at that point, I was amazed. I wondered how they could do this job so cheap?! I know Best Buy required another 100-150 for an interface piece required for the remote start, plus it was even more for the alarm at best buy, I was told at B's that it was included, we agreed on a price, and then shook on it. Later on, this would bite me in the ***. I had an alarm and remote start installed in my truck that same day, they did a great job installing it and had it done about the timeframe they said they would take. When I went in, i looked at the invoice, the price written down was like 100 dollars more than previously agreed on. Remember, partly my fault, I never checked the writeen quote. I imagine this routine happens a lot with this place. What this guy did was he found out best buy was charging seperately for this module, so he elected to pass this fee on to me. I argued for some time before finally, with the help of his younger coworker, agreed in the middle. After tax, it ended up being about 30 dollars more than I wanted to pay, but he wanted nearly 120 more than that after tax. I know for sure, I was NOT in the wrong, If he was right, and agreed on the higher price originally, why did he immediately start dropping the price when confronted? Because he was in the wrong, he was being dishonest and tried to take advantage of me. As far as the installation, Im MECP certified, I've installed stereos and alarms in cars for about 15 years. I hate installing alarms, which is why I let others do that for me. This shop seemed to have done a pretty good job installing the system for me. There was one little problem with the install that I noticed later that night, They connected the light input to the wrong wire, so only 1/2 the lights came on, soI took it back the following day and they fixed it on the spot, no questions asked. And for that, I commend them. it was fixed in about 15 or 20 minutes., this of course was free, after all, it was their mistake. I would go back here for car audio, but any business transactions will be written down and signed/copied first. I'll never make this mistake again, with any business. Always get a written quote. I grew up in a small enough town where your word and a handshake were all that was required. People didn't screw you over cause of a blank work order, or because you were in a vulnerable spot. I made the mistake of trusting a business... make sure you dont! All in all, if you go in, get a signed work order BEFORE you give them the keys. I nearly got screwed because of this. If it werent for him trying to add in/charge for parts he said were included, I would have given this shop a solid 5/5, now I make it my goal to educate other shoppers about the man who's word and handshake means nothing.. read more

I am not happy with this place charged me 585.00 for a viper alarm and the install took like 8 hours .. during this pandemic this place was dirty and they were not wearing mask of any kind.my alarm stopped working twice took it back and always, busy no technician to fix the problem but yet they had one when they installed it.. this was in may it's now august and there willing to see me now so I payed for a non working alarm and have been using my manufacturer alarm for 3 months they are helpful when your buying the system but after that they really don't care . I was told today to take it in and it would be a 3 hour wait .. they should at least throw in the remote with the viper didn't come with the purchase.. I think I overpaid for something that didn't work. Hopefully they will fix this issue. Manager is never there so I don't think he knows what's going on in this place.. beware of this place I would go to a known place were you can see your vehicle and in a safe and clean place. read more

I took my FJ Cruiser the to install a light bar and some custom interior electrical work after another company told me the work was too complicated for their technician. While I was there I figured I would instal some new 6"x9" speakers. The sales guy was very willing to work with me on the price and after a little negotiating we agreed on a very fair price. I went to get auto tint and they seemed reasonable in price. The first tint they put on was not the shade they said it would be so they were nice enough to switch it to a different, more black, type of tint. That's when the headaches began. I had to go back 3 times because of lint or dust under the tint. They just kept getting it wrong. Finally i went back a 4th time to get it removed and my money back only to find out that they messed up my rear defroster. Never going back there and never recommending them to anyone. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! the owner is a complete liar and they handle their business very poorly and treat potential customers like crap. They donated a tint service to the Bexar county COP open car show for their silent auction and when we went to redeem said certificate the owner claimed he had nothing to do with it and that it was a false certificate even though the owners very own signature was on the document! He said he never donates to car shows yet the Bexar county COP open car show posted to their Facebook page thanking them for their support and that they hoped to see them at the show! Which brother audio sound then proceeded to "like" the very comment that was left by the BCCOP! they just lost my business and any future business I may have had with them, I will be letting all the local car clubs know that this is a place to stay away from and they would be MUCH better off taking their business elsewhere. Very disappointed with this place, hopefully this review will save someone else from making the same mistake as we did in thinking this was a good place to go. read more
