Overall, I found this hotel to be really convenient. The location is right across from the metro, a Carrefour Express, and a couple of grab & go cafes.
My room was spacious, with a living area, dining/kitchen area, two TVs and ample closet space. It was really clean and tastefully decorated, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Why only three stars? There were a few annoyances that added up, mostly involving the bathroom.
The room is not OK to share with anyone other than a long-term romantic partner, as the bathroom door is completely transparent.
The shower is hot and has good water pressure but has many annoyances. First off, you have to climb over the side of the very high tub to get in. The glass door thing covers half the shower area, so water gets all over the floor. This requires you to brace yourself on both the glass shower door and the door to the bathroom to avoid slipping and falling either in the wet tub or the puddle of water that's accumulated next to it. Also, you have to reach under the shower head to turn on and adjust the shower, which inevitably means you will get a spurt of cold water on top of your head when you switch the water flow from tub to shower.
Service was, well, non existent. The only employees of the hotel I ever encountered were the cleaning staff.
The breakfast at Pomo on the ground floor was very minimal, but acceptable. I certainly wouldn't pay extra for it if it's not included in your rate, because there are better and cheaper places for breakfast just across the street. read more
