They took great care of our belongings and protected the integrity of our home while moving items in and out. They worked very well together and put everything where it needed to go- often times remembering where it was previously without having to ask any questions. We moved into a house with lots of stairs and they never complained once- they had an attitude of service and positivity the whole time. Each one asked how the service was going and if we were happy with the work they were doing, made sure nothing was left behind and expressed great concern for customer satisfaction. We were extremely satisfied!!! These guys are great and we highly recommend them. The rates are very reasonable and it was very easy to set up a reservation. If you need movers you need to contact Tate the Great!

Good communication, somewhat smooth move process, tricky payment…read more This my first time using movers, so bear with me. To detail, my move took 4 hrs vs 2hrs. Mr. Griffin was very understanding that I wanted to protect my things. I just did not realize that this request would double my move total time for a 1 bdrm, even with dual elevators in my bldg. I didn't realize that time was the sacrifice for care in moving. Secondly, payment was tricky. I didn't think to ask. Tbh, I was so happy to find reasonable movers, I didn't confirm. I would recommend Zelle or Cash, from my experience. Stay away from CashApp. Overall, I was happy with the move. They were very helpful in placing the heavier items for me, too. At least now I know what things to cover for my next move. Happy Moving...

Here is a professional, polished version of your statement while preserving your concerns and…read moredetails: I have hired professional movers several times over the past seven years, and this was by far my worst experience. The crew worked extremely slowly, which appeared to unnecessarily increase the total time billed at an hourly rate. They were also poorly prepared for the move, arriving with only one dolly and lacking the necessary tools to properly disassemble my furniture. As a result, I had to arrange additional help, and the move significantly exceeded my two-hour move-out time slot. This delay forced us to find alternative ways to access my apartment and transport my belongings. Despite arriving at 10:00 AM, the movers did not begin disassembling my bed until 1:45 PM. Additionally, the owner chose to send a truck that was far too small for my move, even though I had reviewed the full inventory of my apartment with him twice in advance. I ultimately had to use my own heavy-duty wagon to assist with moving items downstairs in an effort to keep the process moving. There was also a clear lack of care in handling my belongings. Items such as a glass mirror and a fabric headboard were not properly wrapped, and I had to personally intervene to ensure they were protected. Due to limited space in the truck, I was forced to transport some items in my own vehicle. We did not arrive at the new apartment until nearly 4:00 PM. At that point, the owner complained to me about "working for free," which was highly inappropriate given that I was paying for the service. I then had to address multiple false statements and contradictions regarding the charges. The owner initially attempted to charge just under $1200 for the move and presented a "discounted" rate of $980, which I did not accept. I ultimately paid just over $800 for a two bedroom apartment and 5 mile move that took nine hours, which I still feel was excessive considering the poor service and damages incurred. My furniture was improperly assembled, scratched, and dirty, and items were crammed into an undersized truck. In one instance, screws were driven into the back of my dresser, causing visible damage and holes. Hardware was not properly secured or labeled; instead, screws were kept loosely in the movers' pockets rather than being bagged and attached to the corresponding furniture. I have included photos from the move. Notably, the truck provided--described by the owner as being in good condition--had a hole covered with duct tape and a cracked windshield. Overall, this company is poorly managed and highly unprofessional. I strongly recommend against using their services. If possible, I would have rated this experience zero stars. I failed to mention that he made disparaging commas about his own staff, specifically their inability to load the truck properly and how 1 like to do more of one thing than the other. He said one person with a lawyer and one person with a simpler which was causing the slowdown. He claims to train all of his staff, but at negative things to say about them. After nine hours, he neglected to even offer them any food or beverages. Not to mention this was only a two bedroom apartment move.

I also had to use them twice, moving from a 3 bedroom home to a storage unit on the 11th, then to the new residence a week later on the 18th. Two guys arrived with a large Uhaul truck. They were 2HRS hours late for both moves. They did disassemble and reassemble some items with their own provided tools and shrink wrapped some items. However they did not reconnect my washer and dryer or reassemble a metal bed frame, which is now missing some bolts and unable to be placed back together. There is now a dent in my dryer. My washer is now off balance due to the rough handling, and will cost $150 to repair. A chunk of wood is missing from my dresser. The clip to hold the hose in place of my vacuum cleaner is broken, making it unusable. Mattress covers were filthy from sliding on the floor. Both moves were 6HRS each. Maybe they'd be best at smaller moves, but I cannot recommend them for larger moves, especially with appliances and larger furniture. I did reach out them about the damages, but they stated that they needed to be notified about ALL damages 24-48hrs after the move. Also don't pay a deposit unless you are certain about the dates because deposits are NON refundable. I would suggest they make these policies clear on their site for future customers.

He dented my refrigerator, assembled my son's bed without the screws, and which it collapsed on him while he slept. He broke my glass table, put a dent in the stairway wall. And he broke the control panel to my new dryer by aggressively, pulling and tugging on it to move it off the truck. I overheard conversations in which they spoke about their sexual experiences with women. A 900 dollar quoted job cost me over 2200 because of his inexperience in moving, arriving without proper equipment, including the right size trucks as well as his additional hidden fees. He charged me a $250 additional trip fee. He is not insured until this day has not replaced or refunded the cost of my damaged items, and refuses to return any of my phone calls I don't recommend this company to anyone particularly women in which you will be vulnerable to his scams and manipulation. He would never have done this to a man.
