It's a bit cramped between racks of clothes but this is a minor quibble. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly every time I've visited. You can access the shopping mall from the rear of the store beside the food hall, which is useful, especially in bad weather.

Great value, some fab bargains on winter coats!! The store also has a food department which always has lots of stock available in the two can dine for 10pound section and the special offers. Staff are friendly and helpfull and queues are never very big! Not great for parking though, parking is behind paisley centre so you still have to go outside to enter store. I like this store!!

Of all the Matalan's in all the world, I have to walk into this one! It always has the best of the…read morestock and I really like the layout for the store and the very friendly staff. I am a big Matalan fan but it is only in past couple of years that I have had the confidence to openly admit it to my peers, now when they say, "Nice dress Lisa," I proudly reply, "A tenner from Matalan, get in!" The store at the Phoenix always has gorgeous little dresses, shoes and bags, usually for under £20. Of course they are never made of the best materials but I still find the quality to be much better than rival store Primark. It is also a good thing if you're buying clothes and things for going on holiday and you know they are going to end up covered in sand and booze and allsorts so you don't want to spend a lot of money on them anyway. I absolutely love Matalan's "Cozy Up" range of night wear. I bought a fluffy white dressing gown with pink hearts on months ago and it has been washed umpteen times but is still as fluffy and cozy as when I first bought it. The lingerie is really pretty too. Unfortunately they don't sell my bra size but I like the packs of 5 ladies boxers, very cute. When I first moved out of my parent's home I bought a lot of my home ware from this Matalan store, basic things like towels and a laundry basket. There are collections by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Colin and Justin and Linda Barker. I can't stand Linda Barker but unfortunately I love her range of kitsch crockery! There is also a collection by Martine McCutcheon which I find more than a little bit random! My favorite section of this Matalan store is the M Party section. This section has everything you need to throw the perfect party. There is a multitude of different invitations, decorations, party games and fancy dress costumes. You could spend an hour just in this department alone!

Massive helium balloons are available too. An lovely range of baby and children clothes, cheap but excellent quality. I was quite surprised with the amount of selection that they had especially with known brands. The Shelves in this store are well stocked and the prices where unbelievable with some items being up to four times cheaper than some shops in Glasgow. I was in looking for an item even though they didn't stock that particular product I did find a substitute. This store does deserve a five star for prices, selection and good value.

What can you say about a chain supermarket that hasn't been said already?…read more Well I've been using this ASDA since it opened (even worked there when it opened) and it's changed a lot. It has everything from the usual clothes, food, electricals etc to a pizza counter, fish counter (in store) as well as an optician, photo processing and pharmacy (past the tills). There appear to be 3 areas dedicated to promotions. The first to the left of the Produce (fruit & veg), then in the middle of the store (till side) and then the back wall (beside the frozen food). Saying that the prices go up and down like a yo-yo so you have to watch whether things are really the best price or not, however with current competition the prices are usually on the low side. There is a "Grocery Collectuon" point at the back of the ample car park, for people who have ordered on-line and don't want to go into store (not really that busy). Overall it's like most larger size stores but not as wide a range as other stores (Govan or Cumbernauld), a good all rounder.

Ahh good old Asda! I do my weekly shop at this Asda as I find it to be the cheapest of the…read moresupermarket chains and this branch is huge. I always go in for food but spend at least 45 minutes wondering around the George section then meandering over to the books and magazines taking a detour past the DVDs and Cd's. Eventually thought I do reluctantly go and get some food. This Asda is open 24 hours which is great for me because I am an incredibly impatient shopper and can't stand crowds so I tend to go late at night when this place is more or less dead. I know the self service till things are hated by many but I love them because it means I don't need to actual speak to any of the mutant staff, phew! The only real issue I have with this Asda are the fegs, let me explain what these are. In England they have chavs but in Scotland we have neds. However in the Ferguslie area of Paisley (which is right beside this Asda branch) we have an extra strong breed of ned known as the feg. They run riff in Asda but if you go late at night but not tooooo late, say around 9 o'clock you can usually avoid them.

If you've been in the massive stores, you'll know. It's one of their groceries store which is somewhat equivalent to a Gelson and Trader Joe's with retail. We have our nice market in the states but none really worth it inside the airport. Even though this is a smaller one, probably the same size as a 7'11. It still has a lot to offer. All M&S carries amazing flowers which for the airport it's a must. You have loads of snacks, chips galore. Candies, pre package food which is made quite often. The alcohol selection is quite impress for such a small store. Down to meats and fresh breads. Loads of sweets and gifts too. It's a definite if you're about to get on a plane. Load up on your snacks and whatever else you would need.

Located in what was know as Homebace that then became Focus which then closed & lay empty for a few…read moreyear. This repurposed garden centre is now home to B&M & with the possiblity of a further two usit spaces avalable (due to B&M not using the whole of what was the garden centre/homeware place that was here previously). This place certantly comes accross as something similar to poundland & poundstretchers in that there's a little bit of everything here at good prices with the added bonus of having a College next door to it (Reed Kerr college/ West of Scotland college) so handy for those who don't perticularly want or like whats on offer in the canteen of the college for a quick bite to eat.
