What can you say about a chain supermarket that hasn't been said already? Well I've been using this ASDA since it opened (even worked there when it opened) and it's changed a lot. It has everything from the usual clothes, food, electricals etc to a pizza counter, fish counter (in store) as well as an optician, photo processing and pharmacy (past the tills). There appear to be 3 areas dedicated to promotions. The first to the left of the Produce (fruit & veg), then in the middle of the store (till side) and then the back wall (beside the frozen food). Saying that the prices go up and down like a yo-yo so you have to watch whether things are really the best price or not, however with current competition the prices are usually on the low side. There is a "Grocery Collectuon" point at the back of the ample car park, for people who have ordered on-line and don't want to go into store (not really that busy). Overall it's like most larger size stores but not as wide a range as other stores (Govan or Cumbernauld), a good all rounder. read more

Ahh good old Asda! I do my weekly shop at this Asda as I find it to be the cheapest of the supermarket chains and this branch is huge. I always go in for food but spend at least 45 minutes wondering around the George section then meandering over to the books and magazines taking a detour past the DVDs and Cd's. Eventually thought I do reluctantly go and get some food. This Asda is open 24 hours which is great for me because I am an incredibly impatient shopper and can't stand crowds so I tend to go late at night when this place is more or less dead. I know the self service till things are hated by many but I love them because it means I don't need to actual speak to any of the mutant staff, phew! The only real issue I have with this Asda are the fegs, let me explain what these are. In England they have chavs but in Scotland we have neds. However in the Ferguslie area of Paisley (which is right beside this Asda branch) we have an extra strong breed of ned known as the feg. They run riff in Asda but if you go late at night but not tooooo late, say around 9 o'clock you can usually avoid them. read more

Asda. Well. It's a supermarket. Get in and get out I say. It certainly my go to point for all the weekly essentials. Ad far as desserts go I do recommend their own range of egg custard tart. It's actually ammaaazin'! I was surprised. Prices are affordable for every income. I do have my reservations with some of the staff. The checkout assistants are ace. The staff looking after the tobacco kiosk, also ace. The meat and fish deli staff, great. No it's the useless eedjit executives in suits I'm annoyed at. They may have a shiny i-tablet that informs them how many customers sauntered down isle 6 on Friday night, but it doesn't tell them how to be polite enough to get out of my way at the 3rd time asking! A good sized Asda store - Recently refurbished cafe (cooked breakfast about £2), large George clothing section, Music and Dvds, electronics and homeware. Has a fish counter and a pizza/cooked chicken and a small deli counter but no butchers. Wide variety of products. good 24hour store! Great choice of products!! Always good value and service. The queues are never very long and extra lines are open if needed. Good choice of George clothing and large changing rooms. read more

It's Asda, it's huge, it's a nightmare! I must declare an interest, I hate the supermarkets. Asda in particular seems keen to push through as many customers as possible with the net result being that people who get irritated with large groups of people fighting over a reduced price battery farmed chicken are likely to be unhappy in this store. The only positive about this store is that it's 24 hour opening means that you can go in the middle of the night to do your shopping while the rest of the shoppers are safely at home cooking their prized bargain basement goods. read more

I've been using this Asda store for years. The staff are friendly and they have a wide selection of non-foods. They are so handy to have if you run out of anything from light bulbs to bread. Much cheaper than Morrisons, which I used to use as it was nearer, but I now travel a little more as it saves me a lot more money. I agree with the other reviewer with regards to the disabled parking bays being abused by the lazy and worse, taxi drivers. Shame on all of you. I for one will be taking note of taxi driver's numbers and reporting them. read more

Cheap Asda Price sh*te. Never has any fresh lettuce and place is always mobbed.

I love the 24 hour opening of this store! It has been extended recently and the store cafe has been done up so its even better. They always have a good selection of clothes from the George range and a very well stocked music and DVD department. read more

Asda i 24 hours, but every one seems to head here between the hours of 12 -5 on a Saturday! Queues to get into the carpark tail back which means you have to wait in the queue to get to other stores on the park such as Matalan and TK Maxx. Just another Asda really, of which I am not a fan. read more

I shop here all the time and have always been able to get what i am looking for and more. Find that this store stocks more than some of the other Asda stores which is rather useful :). Tend to to my shopping after 9pm as i find that the store can be a little too busy at times And find that you have no manoeuvre yourself round all the people with trollies. Also has a really large carpark so never found parking to be an issue :) read more

Having telephoned the store this morning and being assured that the birthday cake I was looking for was available and been put aside with name on it,I then got to the store to be told we don't have one in such an abrupt and uninterested manner words failed me.The lady on the bakery counter couldn't have cared less as she was too busy talking even after being told she had a customer.It seemed as though all she was bothered about was going home.I have worked in a supermarket and know how tiring the job can be but could never have treated a customer in such an abysmal manner.I think some of the staff need to be retrained in customer relations.The store o was talking about was in Linwood Paisley. read more

Excellent store, really good value for money compared to other supermarkets. Majority of staff are friendly and helpful. If you don't like really busy stores then don't shop here during the day or early evening. It's extremely noisy and not for everyone. Personally, I leave it until after 10PM to shop there as it's quieter and easier to get around. Parking is good, although it's a shame people without blue badges abuse the use of the disabled bays. Who knew people could be that lazy, including taxi drivers. Shame Asda don't do more at night to check on these bays and make the drivers park where they should. read more

I always shop here and always found staff to be helpful plus the store to be clean and always a great selection of food and drink.
