The one on the half a head dummy looked beautiful, ok my description of the display may not be selling it to you but it was a really pretty and unusual looking piece of jewellery. This shop is probably more mother of the bride by looking at the outfits on display. They do have a good range of accessories, from fasinators, handbags, scarfs and jewellery. The ladies were very helpful and the lady who initially served me got the necklace from the shop window for me. It was a little more than I would have liked to have spent but it really was pretty and would go perfectly with my outfit. So next time you're in Hamilton ladies have a wee look. It does feel very intimate as it's a small sized shop but it's very brightly lit and you can see in through the window display, so I would window shop first before heading in. By the way there's no way you'll get 'Madonna Voguing' here, a wee disappointed but I'll get over it. I just keep it all in my head instead. Vogue!

Our New arrival is due in June and my wife and I were fed up trekking into Glasgow to check out prams etc . This store has everything you need for a new born and the staff were so nice and friendly (making a change from some of the stores in town) . We ordered our complete bedroom furniture which thankfully was on special saving me over £400 which they are storing for me until i can get the nursery in order . my wife cant decide which pram yet (they have so many to choose from ) but we will be back at Matchsticks to get one from them .

Vogue is aimed at an older clientele and most of the clothes are quite ornate. It is not normally a…read moreshop that I would go it to as the fashion is not really by style but there is one really good thing about this store and that is their handbags. They have one wall in the shop dedicated to bags and have loads of nice ones. Nothing hugely designer but you can pick up a nice Radley or Fiorelli handbag here. With regards to price it is not cheaper than heading into a shop in Glasgow but it is handy to have a local store where you pick up a nice handbag if needed.

This shop sells poor quality cheap shoes which when you look at them you can see how badly finished…read morethey are. Having said that there are always people in there and you can sometimes pick up a good bargain. I got a large pink travel holdall for a fiver for my holidays in here and quality with that was great for what I paid for it. Staff are okay but then don't really need to be that knowledgeable the cheapness of the shoes will be enough to sell them. They do sell a lot of kids school shoes which are really cheap so useful for parents on a really tight budget.
