We bought a used car from B and M auto sales in clare last year. It made it 2 days before it started over heating. Went to discuss it with the sales person and they would not do squat to try and get the problem fixed. Long story short I ended up spending a lot more to make the car safe and reliable than I paid for the car. Needed head gasket, tune up,dash gauge cluster rebuilt, valve job, heads milled. And this was about 2 weeks before the steering went out of it. CROOKEST car dealership I have ever dealt with and I am over 70 years old.. I filed a complaint with michigan attorney General, the BBB, And the clare chamber of commerce. I will keep spreading the word how crooked and corrupt they are.​ read more

We purchased a 2010 Buick Lucerne from the dealership. We paid $5,500 for the car after we exchanged money the salesman said that the car had a rear valve seal oil leak, he gave us $200 dollars back. I thought that that was very kind. However, there is also a rear intake leak. They did some calling and got us a price of $800 to repair the leaks. However, did not offer to make it right, by repairing it or to pay for the repairs. Also the struts are bad and the trans cooler lines leak. In addition to this the transmission fluid was so old in the car that it didn't work in the car properly. Between 40 and 45 mph the car shook and struggled to shift. So far with 8 days of owning the car it has been in the shop 4 days. read more

I just found out that the vehicle I just purchased from them has a frame that is rusted through in multiple spots. They mentioned that it was taken to mechanic that I use. However, found out that they didn't. I can't bet anything fixed on it due to this and also found out that this is not the first time they sold an unsafe vehicle. read more

This is not a big place. They have very reasonably priced cars and trucks for those on a budget. I met with the owner and found him to be very honest and open about each car I looked at. When needed, he stood behind his word. Very impressed with him and his staff. They all truly cared about me as a person and proved it by doing the right thing. Got a car from here about 3 years ago. Drove it for a year put about 20,000 on it. Sold it now the new owner has put 30,000 on it.
