When me and my fiance bought a truck from Kocur Krew it was bought under the understanding with the owner, that the only thing wrong with the truck was the exhaust pipe needed to be properly sealed at a connection point. We specificly told him that we wanted something where he Knew what was wrong with it so we could decide wether or not the vehicle was worth it. We even sat there and bullshitted around talking about we could either have it welded or just use some muffler tape. We are all very active in the same church and everyone said he was a good guy so we figured we could trust him and didnt think to get what he said to us in writing. The contract was done under "as is". But..............
Two days later we take it back there to have the muffler tape put on and are told by the mechanic that the cadalidic converters are gone! Mechanic says it would take at least $700 dollars to get it fixed right. We say, "oh well, we can drive without them just fine, right?". Mechanic says "oh yeah, no problem, it will just be a little louder than other cars". We say " good". Leave it at that. Couple weeks later truck is louder again. Then 30 days later our truck gets stuck at the back of the church because it wont shift out of Park! We tell the Kocur Krew owner at church and he brushes us off! Says "oh it might be a switch" and keeps goin. Truck wont move unless you turn key one click, shift to neutral, then turn the truck on. Go about a week like this then figure out that if you push a button on the trailer brake control box you can shift it out of park! ABS light constantly blinks. Now the trailer brake box isint working right. The button we have to push keeps coming off, the brake lights wont turn off unless the light on the box is off which thanks to a half broken button the light wont go off!
Well we finally took it to an outside mechanic. New mechanic says the exhaust system is from a GM truck, we have bolts broke off in the head, and says dealer is legally suppose to have each vehicle checked before sale and our truck should not of even been sold from a licensed dealer if it didnt have the cadalidic converters.
We go back to Kocur Krew and tell the owner the problems it has and that he didnt tell us about all these other problems and ask about just switching to another vehicle and he basicly says we are screwed because it was bought under "as is". Well you ****** ***** ****** ***** ******!!!!! We went on your word and thought we could trust you!!!!
He sold us a "LEMON"! He bought it from the car auction and put it straight on to his lot without doing any proper inspection on it first! We didnt sign any papers saying that we understood that none of his cars are inspected before their bought. read more
