My son just chose an expensive one. I feel it was a great investment as it's lasted 2 years ( so far ) they even helped my son tie his tie. They asked if ALL sections of the suit were ok or needed altering, as where most other places just want to hem your pants and get you out. Suits were ready in a week. The tailor offered to have them ready sooner, but I couldn't pick them up sooner, so a week was perfect. Didn't have to deal with downtown LA traffic, crowds, parking, and "no restroom" situations. I started getting my clothes tailored by Tulio and he does amazing work. I've taken a lot of shirts to him and they all look great. I get compliments often when I wear my more dressy clothes now. My boyfriend tried on about three suits before I decided on a color, then simply had to find a good size for his long arms. We needed the suit that same day so they took in his measurements to style to our liking and he arrived about 3 hours later to pick it up. It was just under $400 for that brand (including the tailoring), but i adore the resulting look and will definitely get plentiful use out of it, for years to come. However, they additionally have an incredible deal involving three suits that we will make sure to take advantage of in the future! One of the staff (without me asking) informed me that they also had the shoes in the women's section. I went over and looked at the women's converse and returned to the men's section, when he saw me return he asked if I was able to find the shoes and asked if I needed assistance . Check out was fantastic too!! and the greeter even told us goodbye. I hadn't experienced good customer service like that in a long time. The shoes were also reasonably priced.
