We had a unique situation during a move and the owner went above and beyond our expectations to make our move as painless as possible. The drive up outdoor units need to be dug out and then won't close. Bring a shovel and be prepared to wrestle with the door and lock. I moved to a storage facility near by that took snow into consideration and built their units raised off the ground, rolling doors that have some forgiveness of 1/2 an inch to account for snow built up.

I rented a unit at this Public Storage location for 2 years and never missed a single payment. I…read morewas a loyal, problem-free customer. Despite that, my rent was increased by $30 every THREE months, effectively tripling the annual cost for a very small unit. What makes this even more insulting is that the exact same size unit was being advertised to new customers for 1/4 of what I was paying. That tells me very clearly how this company treats loyalty: they punish existing customers while baiting new ones with lower prices. I raised this issue and was told a district manager would call me to discuss and make an adjustment. That call never happened. No district manager could spare five minutes to contact a long term, consistently paying customer. The on site service was just as bad. One employee, Amanda, was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude, making an already frustrating situation worse. Her behavior was completely inappropriate for a customer facing role. In contrast, Ashley was the only employee who showed professionalism, courtesy, and basic decency--and she deserves credit for that. Overall, this location demonstrates predatory pricing practices, terrible customer service, and zero respect for loyal customers. After two years of dependable business, I was treated as disposable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this location to think twice, especially if you plan to stay longer than the introductory rate period.

Over the years, whenever I have spoken with them, that remained to be the case. Truly lovely employees. This review is for an East Syracuse location/Galster Road. The facility, which is indoors, was always exceptionally clean with whatever was needed to help move things in and out of the unit (carts/door stops) within reach. The pricing on the unit was also very fair. I have rented units for my other kids over the years, as well as for myself. B & C Storage was the best one.

While we were moving in, she offered us water and checked on us several times to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. That may seem like a small thing, but it really stood out to us. Debbie was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without making us feel rushed. You could tell she actually cared about how our move-in was going. It's rare to find customer service where someone takes the extra time to check on you after the rental is already completed. We were so pleased with the experience that about two weeks later we came back and rented a second storage unit. That probably says more than anything else about how comfortable we felt doing business here. CubeSmart was a great find, and having someone like Debbie there makes it even better. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
