Over the years, whenever I have spoken with them, that remained to be the case. Truly lovely employees. This review is for an East Syracuse location/Galster Road. The facility, which is indoors, was always exceptionally clean with whatever was needed to help move things in and out of the unit (carts/door stops) within reach. The pricing on the unit was also very fair. I have rented units for my other kids over the years, as well as for myself. B & C Storage was the best one.

And within those two months, mice damaged/infested my mattress, protector, and other belongings. I found damage/evidence on 50% of my things. The staff would not give me a refund and instructed me to go through the insurance company. I also had to kill a mouse on my U-Haul; I was tempted to not even bring the things into my new home. To make matters worse, they knowingly had mice and did nothing to make sure I felt comfortable and to alleviate the stress of my relocation." And I say knowingly because the manager said that they had been trying to get someone out to exterminate the mice but was unsuccessful. This was the worst experience.

Syracuse Movers was the first company that came out to my house for a true estimate (as apparently…read moreif a company does not actually see what you have, their pricing guarantees are null and void)! J. explained how everything worked, and I felt really comfortable as it was the first company that didn't pressure or hound me, and it was very clear their commitment to integrity, fair and reliable pricing, and taking care of their clients. I called last minute for my move and they still accommodated me in their very busy schedule in an interstate move from Syracuse, NY to North Carolina. The guys came in and on a very hot day, they packed everything into the truck, helped me finish packing what I ran out of time to do, and literally drove it down the next day and unpacked everything that same night. The team was fast, kind, friendly, and very encouraging as it was an emotional move. J. & I. especially made the day good - they kept my sister and I laughing and talking instead of stressing. On arrival in NC, there was only one damaged item and once we cleared everything up, the owner took care of me even though he really didn't have to because technically that item wasn't even covered by insurance. Everything else arrived in one piece and they delivered my boxes to the rooms as labeled (even though it was a lot of stairs!) The price was the same in the end that I was quoted, and the only issue was some technical miscommunication that we figured out really quickly and everything worked out great in the end. I recommend J and his team for any moving needs you have - local or out of state! It's a great local company that still holds to integrity and getting the job done.

What I got was (1) no estimate in any kind, though having provided many details about my move, (2) no guarantee about when the move can be scheduled, and (3) the worst temper I have ever encountered for someone speaking to a potential customer. While we were moving in, she offered us water and checked on us several times to make sure we were doing okay and had everything we needed. That may seem like a small thing, but it really stood out to us. Debbie was friendly, welcoming, and attentive without making us feel rushed. You could tell she actually cared about how our move-in was going. It's rare to find customer service where someone takes the extra time to check on you after the rental is already completed. We were so pleased with the experience that about two weeks later we came back and rented a second storage unit. That probably says more than anything else about how comfortable we felt doing business here. CubeSmart was a great find, and having someone like Debbie there makes it even better.
