Zia Gianna is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. It is a quaint old house near the Historic District in Savannah, GA. It is bright and airy with lots of charm. Nino is your host and he couldn't be ore friendly and accommodating. His guest rooms upstairs are large enough for two people with an extremely comfortable bed and nice amenities in the bathrooms. There is also a small refrigerator that has water and a snack basket too.
Downstairs is the living space. There is a living room with a large TV and a fireplace. The dining room is right next to the living room and also has a fireplace. The dining room table is large and very comfortable for 6 people. Nino's cooking is amazing. The omelettes are fantastic and his cornbread is homemade and wonderful. He has fruit with breakfast every morning which is also a great touch.
This place is one to be away but feel like you are home. Nino is welcoming, friendly and makes you feel like family. You can sit in the living room, on the front porch, on the back porch or in the backyard and read or have a nice conversation. It is close enough to the historic district (1 to 1.5 miles) to take advantage of the shops, restaurants and sight to see but be far enough away from the loudness and crowds when you want. There are some really nice restaurants near the B&B as well.
We had a really nice time and enjoyed our vacation to Savannah. read more
