It was easy to reserve a spot for my friends and I online. The lesson included the bows, arrows, and a wonderful instructor. A couple people brought their own compound bows too and were allowed to practice with them. We learned how to hold and use the equipment along with all the safety rules of the lanes. I played laser tag at PowerOps today, and it was so much fun!! A friend had purchased the tickets…read moreon Groupon. I expected that we would be playing in a dark room, with neon lights and would be inside, as most of the places I've played laser tag were set up this way. We were somewhat outside in an area that is shared between paintball and laser tag. There were Urban obstacles set up such as abandoned cars, a school bus buildings, construction zones, etc. Our session was 2hours, but we went a little longer (I think because after our first round we had to swap out so another group could go in). They have a binder a different game codes that you can play. My favorite was the original laser tag game and capture the flag. This is a very fun group activity. The atmosphere is very laid back. Wear athletic apparel or something you can move in that you don't mind getting dirty. Even though we were not outside paint balling, we still left pretty dirty. Note: I would've given it 5 stars, but I think there needs to be more signage by the street. Even though my GPS told me that I'd arrived, I passed by it because to me it just looked like a chop shop. The place looks pretty sketch (so much that I sent family the address in case it wasn't legit and something happened to me), but once I realized there was paint balling at the location, I understood. It's a great time! Please go!

Mark specializes in Arabian and Half-Arabian training, so most of the horses here (including mine) are Arabians. Mark is a well-known and very respected trainer in the Arabian community. However, I have a friend who boards her warmblood mare here because Mark is so great at foaling out, and another person keeps their Friesian in training with Mark. Hey, a well behaved horse is a well-behaved horse! Mark is meticulous about cleaning and maintaining the property. You will NEVER find any unsafe footing, downed boards, broken fences, etc.- everything built here was well-planned out. For example, the barn has dirt floors, which Mark maintains very well, to help the horses walk (sometimes they slip on concrete). I was skeptical at first but it really is less nerve-wracking to handle a nervous horse on dirt than concrete. There are trails and an indoor arena with three round pens, but no outdoor arena.

Tried out a different range this past weekend. There's a bit of road construction going on in…read morefront of it. If you're not paying attention, you could miss the entrance. There was plenty of action going on in the store between customers and people signing up for the range. It was a bit overwhelming but died down a bit as my visit continued. I've been trying to narrow down CCW, competition and home protection guns. Went in to try a few out. The ladies at the rental counter were very helpful. They offered recommendations but I tried a Bodyguard 2.0 for CCW. I love the size of it. The magazine kept falling out but they were helpful with just exchanging it for another to try. I then tried a S&W M&P EZ Shield. It had quite a few safety features without having a thumb safety to toggle. I found it easier to use the front and rear sights on that one than the Bodyguard. Anyway, back to the range. There were 7 bays, it felt a tad bit claustrophobic for me... simply because this was my first time in an indoor range. I normally do outdoor. But it served the purpose and I would definitely return. I decided to purchase and was assisted by Josh, shout out to him... he was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He works on the weekends... ask for him. But I'm sure everyone is just as knowledgeable.

I haven't stayed overnight but my colleagues who do seem to enjoy it. The buildings on the west campus appear to be newer. It's great for the students to have access to so many activities they wouldn't have being in the city and even Atlanta suburbs. The employees are very kind and courteous, the building with the cafeteria is clean and well kept, and the food is actually decent for a camp. Obviously geared towards what younger people enjoy eating (chicken fingers, fried food) but the salad bar is pretty substantial and well stocked. Great place to recharge and connect with nature.

Covered bridges are wonderful examples of craftsmanship, but they should also be appreciated as…read moreengineered structures. The general objective of a covered bridge design is to provide a cost-effective, functional, safe, and durable crossing. Although I think there are exceptions and this one basically goes nowhere being it was repurposed and preserved for all of us to enjoy it's not really being used as it was originally intended it is a beautiful structure and if you've never driven across one of these magnificent structures here's your opportunity. I've visited a number of these historic and nostalgic bridges over time, and it's always a thrill when they still allow traffic to pass. This one lane wonder requires one too pay close attention since you are required to straddle the center of the bridge with your wheels along a path of rough cut lumber. If you really want to connect with this structure you must walk across it using the original designated pedestrian side of the bridge, you can feel the strength of the design and appreciate the workmanship of those that created this beautiful piece of art...
