My daughter wanted to come here because she was bored one day while driving around. I'd always…read moreseen the place, but never knew exactly what it was. Turns out its a pretty cool costume shop with something from probably every era or genre. I mean I saw everything from 20's gangster to batman. Since I was with my 14 year old, most of my time was force in the disco era, she thinks its fascinating and loves the colors. I too was amazed at the size of the selection of 70's clothing. While I don't see myself shopping here daily, I will say that I will never buy a Halloween outfit anywhere else but here. Why would I. Matter of a fact, I think I'm going to plan my outfits for this years Halloween parties starting in early September, just so I can identify and purchase what I want early. We didn't really see much on the employee side, I'm not sure how staffed they'd be prior to any big costume type event, but one person did manage to ask if I needed help. The place is not super large, and everything is kinda cramped together, so you'll want to give yourself some time to walk around and take it all in. I'm excited to see that this place is right here in our North Texas backyard and look forward to making my costume experience awesome with the Dallas Vintage Shop.

If you go to renaissance festivals or you do theater, this would definitely be the place to go for high quality costumes! Just don't come in expecting to get an outfit for less than $100.

Had lunch with a friend to celebrate our birthdays and big was this place a treat. Tucked away in…read morethe back of an antique mall there is a quaint restaurant with a delicious menu full of tasty options. Staff was absolutely the kindest. The food was delicious. A little on the expensive side but don't let that deter you, it's well worth the treat!! Your taste buds will thank you.

I think 15 years ago it was a tearoom and dead on arrival. Not anymore. I peaked around the corner to see what's the deal Lucille and see about 50 people having lunch. Obviously, someone has engineered a successful restaurant in here I came here trying to find someone interested in buying things I have for sale. It is exactly the type place I needed to be. A nicely currated group of " booths" with ,No Junk! That's right, this place is not a waste of time but a legit source of vintage/ antique collectables. Including furniture, figurines, lamps, mink coats, silver items etc etc. I did infact find a dealer that made me an offer on my stuff and a couple of more to contact about my other stuff. It's hard to sell things these days as interest has wained in with the younger generation. High Street Antiques is perfectly positioned to capture the target audience for those remaining appreciative and desirus of " Old, Lovingly Used, Sentimental" stuff. If you haven't been, what are you waiting for...? Go!

From a shopping experience and a selling experience, Indy Clover is a great resale shop! The…read morevariety and selection of items is great, and I love that there are discount days at the end of each week. Unlike other thrift stores and consignment shops, you rent a booth for a week to sell your clothes, shoes, home decor items, and accessories for prices that you choose. You can market your booth however you'd like on social media to gain more foot traffic to your booth. I gave Indy Clover a try for selling a couple weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised by how much money I made. Although I didn't hit my profit target, I still made a lot more money selling through Indy Clover than I would have at its competitors, and this was without advertising my booth online. I think this concept is great for people who sell through online resale platforms like Poshmark, so they can have a brick and mortar option to sell their shop items. I highly recommend Indy Clover to shop or sell.

(EVEN if you try to cancel a week before your scheduled closet) The fee(s) they charge is insane- You are paying a closet fee, giving them 1/3 of the price of each item, supply fees, CC fees, etc. At the end of the day, it isn't even worth the hassle of setting up & taking down. On a positive note, the Manager is never available via phone but does email you very quickly with the FINE PRINT.

Like others have said, they have started to inflate their prices A LOT…read more $12 for a Loft top? Me thinks not. However, if that means I can get an Anthro dress for $2 so be it. So with that, they're kind of inconsistent price wise. I don't think they know some of the "nicer" brands out there....again case and point: Athleta top for $10, Rag and Bone top for $3. Regardless, this was my spot when I lived in Plano and I continue to stop here while coming back to visit. Good news is they have half priced marked tags of the day and it's usually multiple colors so more opps to save. The store is huge and pretty well organized. The music isn't horrible and the store doesn't smell too much so that's a nice surprise as well.

Finally the long-awaited return to Plaza Thrift. I've only ever really popped in and never did a…read moretrue thrift run, but before I was always moderately satisfied with everything except the prices. Sadly, it's gone downhill. But let's start with the prices. Expect to pay around $10 for basic jeans and $5 for basic tops. When I say basic, I mean Shein, Old Navy and Walmart. So basically retail prices. For used. Better quality brands, like Anne Taylor, Calvin Klein, Talbots are going to be $8-15 for tops and $15-25 for pants and jeans. So not retail, but high. And these are used clothes. They do have the color tag sales that all thrifts do to move inventory. 50% off one color and 25% off another. That makes the items affordable. . . If you can find them, which brings me to my much bigger issue. There is 0 attempt to organize this store by size. Or if there was an attempt it was months ago and not been maintained at all. The only organization is gender and type (long sleeve, sweaters, jeans, etc.) I was also there in October and they had no women's short sleeve section at all anymore. They had replaced it with 3 rows dedicated to Christmas attire. Which. . .idk. For me, one reason I thrift is to not have to deal with stores that only have seasonal offerings. It's TEXAS! Its 80 degrees in October! Service was. . .fine. Unremarkable. The one really good thing is I would say they had about 25-30% "better" brands, including the ones I mentioned before as well as White House Black Market, Jones New York, NY & Co., Cato, Eloquii, Torrid, Banana Republic, and more. There was a *lot* of Anne Taylor actually, including some with tags. Though everything with tags had a premium surcharge. I would say the mix was roughly 50% fast fashion/Walmart, 20% Old Navy/Khols/Forever 21, 25% the better stuff and 5% specialty/costume/weird.
