Even more to their credit, the salesmen will tell you if the products they have are not going to be suitable for your needs. Something you don't see all that much these days. The store is not located in the centre of Nottingham and is not situated well for any of the multi storey car parks. However this is not a problem as there are parking slots outside the store and the staff will pay for the parking meter.

Whilst outside the 30 day right to refund and return stipulated under the 2015 Consumer Act this is well within the six month period in which it is the retailers responsibility, not the manufacturers, to either fix or replace the item. Gotchs failed to recognize this and told us we had to go to the manufacturer. This is very unhelpful and I'll-informed customer service. This really does need rectifying as Gotchs will lose customers.

Gotch's is an electrical store selling very much what you would expect in the likes of Curry's on Gowthorpe. Gotch's is a family run business that has built up a good reputation amongst the locals not only for its goods but also for it excellent sales and after sales service. The Interior is larger than you would think with a range of house hold appliances as well as ranges in TV's and music. In the past we have brought a freezer and a tumble dryer, and that's even after shopping around for prices. The prices are too similar to bother with the big companies and its nice to support a Selby business over the national stores.

A lot of the things they sell are available through the Richer Sounds website but they usually recommend that you visit the store so that there is no risk of the items getting damaged in the post. This also means you get to actually listen to/watch the the equipment you are interested in before you part with your money. The staff are usually genuinely interested in the products they sell so are very knowledgable and willing to help.

The staff there are really helpful and are always at hand . I love the products from here they are really cheap and sometimes can often beat other retailers . I brought a 5.1 from there a few years back and has major problems with it but richer sounds couldnt be more helpful they tried there up most to find me a diffrent one and at the same price too . I couldn't help him and said in passing that I was looking for Maplin's, he promptly gave me directions and I was soon in this Aladdin's Cave of electrical components. Being slightly out of the city centre this electronics shop is vast compared to my other experiences of Maplin's. You can get loads of little bits from transistors, to hard drives and a cacophony of wires to larger goods such as disco lights. Everything is here to enable you to vamp up any gadget you may have lurking in the house. Despite the size the layout is well devised, staff are able to find things quickly and can offer what seems to be knowledgeable advice on what you need, although I am no expert.

Whats more they will even refund your parking charges even if you don't purchase anything, as long as you are a genuine customer.
