My experience at this store was very disappointing due to the customer service.
I completely understand that the store closes at 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. My sister and I walked in around 5:58 p.m., and as soon as we entered, I even told her, "You have two minutes--they're about to close." The employee with red hair overheard me and immediately repeated that we only had two minutes, even though I had already acknowledged it.
My sister found a pair of jeans she liked, but they weren't in her size. The jeans section was extremely disorganized, so we were looking through the stacks to find the correct size. While we were searching, the employee told us to "quit throwing the jeans around." My sister explained that the area was already a mess and that she was simply looking for the right size.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee responded by telling us to "just leave." I expressed that the section was already messy, and she again told us to leave. At that point, I became frustrated and responded inappropriately by calling her a name. I acknowledge that I should not have done that, and I take responsibility for my reaction but she was not being respectful enough to earn my respect. However, I don't believe it was appropriate for the employee to attempt to remove us from the store while other customers were still shopping.
This entire interaction took place over approximately four minutes, from 5:58 p.m. to 6:02 p.m.
Overall, the store was disorganized, and the customer service was disappointing. I understand that employees want to close on time, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect during business hours. Unfortunately, this experience made me feel like my business was not valued. read more
